I feel I’ve grounded myself on some of this.

Darnold has missed plays. WR’s have dropped TD’s. RB’s fumbled in the RZ. KOC had made questionable calls. The Defense not sharp at times. ST lapses.

But how can you not love this team? We dream every off season to be in this good of a position.

I’m all in.

This team is incredible. Our main weakness is GCG. Next season we can fix that. I wish we could get Darnold for $10 million again next season. I also wish that McCarthy turns out to be awesome. We might have enough to get to the Super Bowl this year. Next year could be even better.

Every team (even KC) has weaknesses....you have to pick your poison.

The Seahags are 3-5 at home but tied for 1st in their division so the motivation should be there.

guards and centers just aren't sexy...when the defense rushes the QB with three players, it almost all the time gives the QB plenty of time to find a receiver, no matter how many defensive players are guarding them...when the offense has a strong o-line it gives the QB more time with fewer d-backs guarding the receivers....

as we all know, a huge part of what makes detroit so strong is their o-line....

kwesi thought he could do the interior o-line cheap with brandel and $3m, a smallish/weak center, and a weak rookie/journeyman right guard...spielman never gave the interior o-line much attention either....

if you want to give your QB, the most expensive player on your team, the best chance of success in this league, give him the best o-line you can....

we'll have the money in 2025 to address this...kwesi, just do it....

Brandel may be fine but at least improve one of the other two....Risner has been an ok stopgap but I think Center is the main issue. They do have a lot of money and resources spent on Darrisaw, O'Neil, and Bradbury actually....Ingram was also a 2nd round pick I believe....so it was more not hitting HR on Bradbury and Ingram than the resources spent.

Time to go buy a good IOL player(s). Don't seem to matter who the GM is they fail miserably drafting them.

If we can at least one #1 for Sam I’d take Tate Ratledge and shore up a G spot but I didn’t see much available in FA. Maybe something shakes loose via trade.

However they do it they should find 2 starters.

Brandel is not fine by any stretch of the imagination and he's the one most likely to move early in the red zone. It doesn't where previous lineman were drafted. When something is a problem for years and you don't fix it, you're not spending the resources.

IMO Brandel is fine if you fix C but who knows. They infused the defense with a bunch of FA.....time for OL.

I wouldn't say they haven't taken it seriously, I'd say they haven't evaluated very well. They selected Bradbury in the first round and before that Elflein in the third round. Those are both high picks for a center.

We have lucked out on lower picks at other position spots....same issue every team has. Need a better Oline coach/evaluator.

I agree with all of you about the need for interior linemen. So tired of seeing Bradbury ending being bull rushed and ending up on his backside. We will have free agent money so let's get at least one stud IL, hopefully center.

we need to change all three...spend the money...pay $10mm/yr for each player - maybe more for one real stud....

if we're going mccarthy, we sure as hell better protect his ass...and knee....

Right now, McCarthy has more knee injuries than completed passes in the NFL. I wouldn't be banking my future on that kid. It's all speculation at this point. He's a 100% unproven prospect.

Knee Injuries 1
Complete Passes 0

Some times you have to have faith.

Esp when you have zero control.

JJM has got this and will save us a fortune over the next few years.

I don't believe in faith or hope as a plan. The NFL is a results league, and right now you have a guy that is 12-2 with the #4 passer rating in the league.

Best pick of the first round could end up being Nix in Denver. The Payton/Nix combo seems like a perfect fit. Looks a lot like Drew Brees on paper and film.

Best pick of the first round could end up being Nix in Denver. The Payton/Nix combo seems like a perfect fit. Looks a lot like Drew Brees on paper and film.

Bo Nix is fine. He looks good to me. 22 TD's and 11 INT's as a rookie with an average passer rating. Put some talent around that kid and he is going to be very good. His targets are Courtland Sutton, Devaughn Vele, Adam Trautman and Troy Franklin. The only one of those guys that would even start in Minnesota would be Sutton, and he'd be a #3 receiver.

Some times you have to have faith.

Esp when you have zero control.

JJM has got this and will save us a fortune over the next few years.

I have faith in Brandel but not all three.....lol Haven't seen what they have with Jurgens yet.....Kwesi and KOC have earned it.

We don't have the money to give all three 10 million either. OG is the easiest position to fill cheaply in the league and we struggle with it.

I don't believe in faith or hope as a plan. The NFL is a results league, and right now you have a guy that is 12-2 with the #4 passer rating in the league.

Hope and faith isn’t want we want from Kwesi but ok for us.

I rely zero on faith or hope. Any that I had has been stolen in the past decade.
