Yes, could be out for the season. They are saying surgery and "week-to-week."

Unlikely to be season ending. Guerin says about four weeks.

up 2-0 after one but that's not the story. that's the best period of hockey I've seen this team play in a very long time.

Really good win on the road. This team has plenty of flaws but grit and fight aren't ones.

Their biggest flaw is the inability to play that kind of game on home ice.

Weird. Teams with the Wild’s road record are usually sitting on top of the NHL. Teams with the Wild’s home record are usually sitting around the bottom of the NHL.

We aren't talking about all time Eastern Canada teams here but back-to-back against the Leafs and Habs and going 2-0 with your leading scorer out is pretty damn impressive.

Can't sustain but goals from 22, 19, 28, 89 and 17 helps a LOT. I still say though. Minus one or 2 guys. Every guy on this team is about a line to high for their skill set.

Hell, we have been playing with a 4th line of all AHL players all season. It would be real nice to actually have a true top 6 for the top 2 lines.
I missed the game tonight, but it sounds like they played another good game.

Liam Ohgren scored his first NHL goal against the Canadians.

I tuned into the last 2 games and the speed the Wild have on the ice and skating is much improved on the 4th line this year. Gaudreau, Trenin, Ohgren line was really good.

They had Lou Nanne doing the Toronto game and stated that the skating and speed of the Wild is top notch.

The NHL and NHLPA are forecasting significant salary cap bumps on the current $88M ceiling in the coming years. It's a great time to be hitting free agency.

2025-26: $95.5M
2026-27: $104M
2027-28: $113.5M

It's also a good time for the salary cap hits from the Parise / Suter contracts to drop to $2 million.

I watched about 10 minutes and that was it. When college hockey is on I usually go for that and the Gophers sweeping Bucky was fun so I didn't need to see the bad Wild....

I just watched the replay of Hartman having his annual brain fart and slamming Stutzel's head into the ice. I think it's time to part ways with him....we will never be a good team allowing that kind of shit to happen every year.

I lasted about 12 minutes. The Gopher/Badger game was much more enticing, with a much better payoff.

Hartman gets a 10 game suspension for his cheap maneuver. Now if Guerin would just get him off the roster.

I hate the goonery move from Hartman. It was a bit of his reputation when we got him, but I think this is the first time he's really gone way over the top - at least that I can recall. With all of the injuries the team has had, it was truly selfish of Hartman to do something so egregious that we have yet another starter out for an extended period of time.

Crud.

He really doesn't get paid to be an enforcer....yet when he struggles to score he overdoes the enforcer part.

Ryan Hartman should get a lifetime ban from the NHL.

This team is so weird. Gus was great but our 2 scorers were 22 and 18. I won't try and spell their names but good on them. When we suck we look so slow.

Couldn't even watch the game here because it was only carried on streaming.
