Didn't appear to miss Gobert at all.
First time the Thunder didn't lead at any time in a game this year.
Reid was excellent and McDaniels put together a complete game.
Shannon and his energy was fun to watch.
OKC is one hell of a team.

Shannon could be a good bench contributor the rest of the way. I get it in these days of drafting one and done 19 year olds you have to go get that talent. But there's something to be said too for someone like Shannon who's more physically and mentally mature and comes in NBA ready.

I keep looking at the development of Reid and McDaniel.
The possibilities of some our young players.
I see so much potential......then I get very agitated again and again about the Towns trade!

Wolves are a good value bet to win the title this season.

The Wolves are currently 6th in defensive efficiency.
Oklahoma is number1.

Edwards didn't score in the last 7.5 minutes of the game. That's not all on him. Houston was blitzing him hard. Nobody could hit wide ass open shots.

Especially from 3. That was the game.

I'm getting real tired of some of Ant's immaturity. He picked up his second T in two games and he is up to 14 for the season. He is two away from drawing a suspension and shows no signs of slowing down. Last night, the ref even tried to walk away, but Ant wasn't having it and even kept it up after he finally got T'd. I can only assume the Wolves would lose a game that Ant is suspended. That game could be the difference in even making the play-in round. He needs to grow up fast.

Chris Finch has perpetuated this culture of blaming the refs....by blaming the refs.

Two games ago Finch picked up a T a couple of minutes after Edwards picked up a T. Whatever the case, Finch hasn't been able to reign him in.

And every 2 Techs after that result in a 1 game suspension.

A gutsy win with the kids playing a lot. Let's see if it becomes a springboard to bigger things down the stretch, or is instead another tease of untapped potential.

3 games against the Thunder in a 4 game stretch. Missing Gobert, Donte and Randle for all 3.

Not bad taking 2 out of 3. And we likely win the 3rd if Jaylen Clark doesn't get hurt after 18 minutes.

The Wolves won the 18 minutes Clark played by 20 points while losing the 30 minutes he was not on the court by 27.

SGA went 1-4 with 2 turnovers when Clark was guarding him.

Shams:

The Minnesota Timberwolves plan to convert guard Jaylen Clark on a fully guaranteed, two-year NBA contract, agent Todd Ramasar of Life Sports Agency told ESPN. Clark has been on a two-way since being a second-round pick to Minnesota in 2023, now earns a standard deal.

After converting Jaylen Clark, the Minnesota Timberwolves plan to sign free agent guard Bones Hyland to a two-way NBA deal, agent Austin Walton told ESPN. Hyland will be reunited with Wolves president Tim Connelly, who drafted him in Denver where he was a two-time Rising Star.

That means greater team control of Clark after this season, correct?

It means he's signed through next year - and he's now Playoff eligible this year.

Very nice....Tim loves Bones Hyland. Thinks he might need some G league seasoning and might help also?

Dilly was tired of being the smallest guy on the team. ;-)

He's terrible. Likely only signed to play for Iowa as we've brought all their good guards up to play for the big club.

I read that he isn't the player he was just 2 years ago. In the opinion of Jon K no way he passes Rob on the depth chart and more or less was signed if injuries occurred.

He's never been good. He just shoots a lot and can occasionally get hot from 3.

He's also not a PG.

Ant picked up 2 techs and got ejected last night. He is now at 16 for the year and is suspended for tonight's game. Every 2 T's for the rest of the year is another suspension. Grow the f**k up, dumbshit! When the Wolves miss the playoffs this year, we'll have Connelly's bad trades, player injuries and Ant's mouth to thank.

I know they are not better without him (Ant) but they played better without him last night. They moved the ball better.

Bad basketball game from both teams. Bad shooting, constant complaining to refs.
