Flores CB rehab? Jeff Okudah in for a visit.

We must have low balled Rondale Moore. Haven't heard anything about signing him.

I think WR is a big need along with starting G, BoQB and CB. Those 4 should be the priority. You gotta assume Addison is going to get a suspension at some point so that puts WR in to the crosshairs.

I would bring back Shaq and draft a CB. We are 1 injury away from "oh crap". Stay away from Gilmore. His fumes are on fumes.

Still have no clue what they are doing at QB. JJM is clearly the starter but he didn't last 1 preseason game and they still don't know what play did him in. We're another mystery injury away from Rypien-time.

In the grand scheme of it, LG should be the easiest one to fill. Whether or not they do it. Who knows,

If they are planning on filling it out with the draft you gotta think:

1st on CB
#97 on G/swing
filler/WR
filler
filler

Cam to your left and Bradbury to your right isn't ideal or in Risner's case Bradbury to your left.

Realistically we aren't going to be able to fill all the line spots unless someone drops into our laps at a reasonable rate.

Risner had Bradbury to his left and scored very high as a pass blocker. The Vikings have roughly $32,801,533 in cap left. They should have no problem signing an upgrade from Brandel.

Yeah this stuff about who played next to whom is over the top.

With that 'logic', Bradbury was held back because he had two crap guards on either side of him.

Bottomline, they were the 3 Stooges out there.

Darisaw was really good at his job, meaning any extra blocker could focus on the guy Brandel let through.

For me it was more the guy Cam was letting thru or Bradbury getting bulldozed thru (For Brandel to block).

Phil, you don't get it. Brandel gets graded on the guy he is supposed to block, not the guy Cam, Bradbury, Darrisaw or anyone else was supposed to block. Brandel graded out as the 98th best guard. That means he was not only worse than the other 63 starters, he was worse than 34 back ups as well. Christian Darrisaw on his left side was not going to improve that. Unlike Risner, who is at least a good pass blocker, or Bradbury, who is least a good run blocker, Brandel is abysmal at both. You can put him between the #1 LT and C in the NFL and he'll still stink. Sign a vet and use the 1st round pick on the BPA.

Which is why I said Rouse or a draft pick. After what they have to fill yet what do they have left for the Oline? They have signed a backup OT, top 5 C and top 5 OG at a decent amount of $$$. It is being more realistic than saying Brandel is a great OG. It maybe someone in the next wave if it isn't someone they draft.

The 32 million is before Harry, Skule, and Mason are on the books I believe also.

FA WR Rondale Moore, who visited the #Vikings last week, is visiting the #Bears today, per me and @MikeGarafolo.

Okudah, 26, started one season at Ohio State and earned All-American honors before the Lions used the No. 3 overall pick in the 2020 draft on him. He has the size and length we're missing in our CB room.

But...

Dude is always hurt and has had a couple major injuries. And he's graded out really poorly whenever he has played.

Interesting flyer, but I wouldn't give him any real money or even a full guarantee.

Bradbury released. Now just release Brandel and sign another guard.

I thought I saw last night the Bears signed a different receiver, so maybe we still have a chance for Moore. I would like if he joined the squad.

I was strolling through YouTube videos watching a few CC videos - which are all click-baits - and I saw about a million Rogers/Minnesota videos in there. Saw this in the process:

Nick Wright, Chris Broussard and Coach Eric Mangini show:

edit: Sstats last 3 seasons for Rogers and all the Viking QBs (obviously the amount of games aren't the same bc of the inj)

Record: Rogers 14-21 V QBs: 34-17
Comp pct: Rogers 63.7 V QBs: 66.6
Pass ypg: Rogers 216.9 V QBs 258.6
Yds/Pass: Rogers 6.7 V QBs 7.5
TD-Int: Rogers 54-23 V QBs 91-45

Vikes Signed a top end guard and Center......Rondale Moore isn't going to sign for much over the minimum. He is also a very good PR. They are moving Bradbury's dead cap to post June 1st to make another big signing or two.

I doubt it is for a OG. My guess is a CB trade.

My guess is if the Vikes sign a OG it will be after the draft in the next phase if they don't address it in the draft.

I have serious doubts about a CB trade. What capital do the Vikings have to use in a trade? Not draft picks. Addison? I doubt they will part with him. There are a couple of veteran OG out there who would be an upgrade from Brandel that wouldn't eat up too much cap and possibley for a 1 year deal. Given their history, the Vikings would be foolish to put all of their eggs in the draft basket for a guard.

Unless you are ok with Lucky Jackson, Jeshaun Jones, and Thayer Thomas, then we need 2-3 WRs behind JJ, Addison, and Nailor... as well as backup IOL and a much discussed starting G.

I would guess our 1 for their 2 and a 2nd or third the next year for Sauce.

Scary rumor from Ben Goessling; QB trade. (He didn't say it but we were rumored to be looking at Herbert at times last year).

The Vikings have agreed to terms with CB Jeff Okudah. Adds another young, physical corner to young and hungry group. Competition will be very fun. Can't get out of my mind Okudah v Jefferson game in 2022. Okudah had help all day but was so physical.

Great. We'll have a decent CB for about four games.

People are looking at this signing as more akin to Shaq Griffin/Fabian Moreau type deal. He wont start...but will back up. If it works out good for the Vikings Great, if not, no big deal.

We are getting to the point where all we need is a veteran BACKUP QB for insurance in case JJ faulters or gets hurt.

Then it's time to talk draft.

We signed a G and a C.

The only weak link left is LG which at the moment has Brandel at the top of the depth chart. But what I'm hearing is they are really kind of excited about Walter Rouse taking over there soon.

So I doubt there will be any further action on the OL for now.

But then I thought we were done in the secondary and we signed Okudah today.

And we still have a bunch of cap left.

The team has announced that they have reached an agreement with wide receiver Tim Jones, with the terms of that deal not immediately being made available.

Jones initially signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Mississippi in 2021 and spent that entire season on the Jacksonville practice squad. Over the past three seasons, he has appeared in all 51 regular season games for the Jaguars with three starts.

He hasn’t put up much in terms of receiving numbers, as he has just 17 receptions for 154 yards and no touchdowns. His biggest value appears to be on special teams, as he played 68% of the Jaguars’ special teams snaps this past season. Jones also had a pair of kick returns this past season for 43 yards.
