ORIGINAL: marty Getting mopped in the playoffs is not success. Glad Darnold is playing all right on a good team, but I wouldn't want him as my starting QB in the playoffs. My argument is based purely on feeling, and I feel that McCarthy will be a great QB soon, he doesn't remind me of Christian Ponder. He gives me the feeling he is a quick learner that can rise up at anytime, and lead the team to victory. I had him on my FF team, dropped him, but am considering picking him up again, now that the team that picked him up dropped him. But the schedule gets a little brutal, you have a bye, then Philly and then at Chargers and at Detroit. But this is still potentially an explosive offense with JJ and now Addison, Hock, Mason, and maybe Jones comes back and shows he hasn't lost a step. It has nothing to do with who is playing RT, C, or QB. Just win the game this week then the week after the bye. This talk about who is playing QB for the week is as important to me as who is playing C or RT because it is a team sport. Get thru the week and hopefully get healthy during the bye week.
