ORIGINAL: Lars BIG10 with another 'natty'! SEC who? "PAC 10?" LMFAO Was rooting for BUF - now just hope DEN loses. **** that scumbag Payton. LOL on CHI losing, too! Their defense played amazing, but the great Caleb threw another 3 INT... Caleb threw that incredible/insane TD then a few minutes later ends the game with a pick. Moore perhaps didn't run the route properly, fast, or whatever, but the pass looked like it may have been a bit wide regardless. IF he can minimize the errant throws he will be a top 10 QB... big if though. That was the stuff of video games. 999 times out of 1000 nothing good happens when a qb runs backwards 20 yards Have you heard of Fran Tarkenton? It wasn't a scramble as much as it was a straight line 25-yard dropback. it was a desperation heave, but one hell of a desperation heave.... It was a desperate situation largely defined by retreating 25 yards with three defenders closing in, but the pass itself was right on the money. As opposed to just throwing it up there like a hail mary. But I get your point too. Perhaps (?) the play was similar to 'The Catch' in terms of defenders closing in, Montana rolling right, waiting, sideline closing in, waiting, then hitting Dwight Clark for the TD. Hold-your-breath high drama with how the play unfolded, but that pass was the very definition of cool as opposed to desperate. cousins would have thrown the ball out of bounds....
