That's the way it works.

And still we get a different championship team nearly every year. It ain't broke.

Correction; we get a different major market championship team every year. Look at the last decade. Eighteen of the twenty total WS teams over the last ten years are from major markets. There hasn't been a small or mid market WS champ since KC in 2015.

Its broke.

Not for Matt...he only worries about seats and games....not the health of the game or the Twins being forced to pay a cap floor.

All you have to do to see the health of the game is drive around town and see all of the empty ball fields. There was a time when they were full all summer long with kids playing pick up games and now you only see activity for organized city teams.

The Bananas at Target Field outdraw the Twins.
I know many fans that only talked and watched the Twins in years past were done when they said they were cutting 30 million in payroll in November just a few years back. Going to take a lot more to get them back.

I'll be.

Imagine that.

Says the guy who then stated: "Id probably rather watch the Bananas if they are calling up Jackson instead of Jenkins....."

There is clearly a circle-the-wagons small town mindset where the city slickers need to take their money and go on home so we can get back to kitchen table talk amongst ourselves.

But pa, they actually give us a lot of money each year. It's called revenue sharing.

Well they need to stop their fancy pants spending is all. Now where were we? Murray here says we need a stoplight in town. Yeah, there are a lot of accidents, but dang 'nabbit that money could be used elsewhere. Maybe the mayor could keep it. Or we could help the MLB owner with their stadium upgrades. We all like baseball right?

Or pa, that money could be used to help the owner buy good players!

Now son, I don't know what's gotten into you. It must be that World Wide Web thing that hogs up our landline.

1) Stay in your LAD are the kings and should stay that way and no way there should be a salary cap lane.
2) None of your business if I rib Matt.
3) The Bananas drew 100k over 2 days at Coors Field......It isn't only the Twins as they have a lottery for tickets so they are selling out (in MLB Parks).
4) Do you even know who the best Twins prospects are at AAA?

The Twins are waiting until they are sure Jenkins can't get 130 AB. That way they protect his rookie status for next year.

No, they don't care about that. They care that he'd have to be added to the 40-man and would thus be ineligible for minor league play during next season's MLB lockout.

Your take is baseless for a prospect that has nothing more to prove as he mashes AAA pitching (They actually get penalized for holding a prospect down with the new rules). Will you eat crow when he gets called up in a 7-10 days? Not only that but Rodriguez will be up in September also as he is out of options after this year and has to be on the Major League roster next year.

2022 wasn't on Netflix.

I don't think facts are what you think they are. Same with deflect. But you're too lazy to post otherwise.

4 points and one quasi fact (the Bananas drew 100K over 2 days at Coors Field) which is a fact only in the technical sense because two teams, maybe a giveaway, etc drew those fans.

I was talking about call up prospects and ribbing Matt when comparing it to the Bananas.

Do you know who the top Twins Prospects are?
You really don't follow the Twins do you?

So 2 facts right there you deflect on....you don't know the Twins prospects and you don't follow the Twins?

2 very good reasons to stay out of the discussion.

Lets make this simple w/o you looking at your phone.
Did the Twins win last night, who did they play, and who was pitching for them?

So now you create THREE questions in one sentence and think they are facts?!?! Nice! You keep making my point in new and better ways!

Another new high for alternative facts! This is a record breaking day.

Fact is, you need remedial training. Go back to High-A.

Story you sticking to is what again...

Despite you asking for clarity because an allegory is beyond your comprehension, I'm not going to explain it to you nor repeat it to you.

As an aside, your grammar... it's getting worse.

I have watched them just as much as the Twins lately but I don't know their prospects, etc. and am not afraid to admit it.
