What happened to Flacco in the post season? I like the guy but what the Vikes saw was the best he's shown.

Same thing that happened last year. He's not a good playoff QB yet. He's 3-2 in the playoffs, but has had ONE decent game and FOUR bad to horrific ones:

W: 9/23 (39%), 135 yards, 0 TDs, 0 INTs. 59.1 Rating.
W: 11/22 (50%), 161 yards, 1 TDs, 0 INTs. 89.4 Rating.
L: 12/30 (43%), 141 yards, 0 TDs, 3 INTs. 18.2 Rating.

W: 4/10 (40%), 34 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INTs. 10.0 Rating.
L: 20/35 (57%), 189 yards, 0 TDs, 2 INTs. 48.4 Rating.

5 Game totals:
56/120 (46%), 660 yards, 1 TD, 6 INTs. 45.83 Rating.

Boy's, tomorrow is the day. Fortunately for those who root for the Vikes, the game is decided on the field and not by the media.

AD brings it tomorrow...has his biggest day in a long time!

I like that thought.

Wow. Worse than I imagined. Should be a good QB for years but certainly nowhere near the top of his craft yet. Like Ryan, we haven't seen enough yet.

Yup.

I've been saying for 2 years that I expect him to eventually be a top flight QB, but that its very premature to crown him at this point.

Different regime, but same philosophy.

Maybe we'd see a better Flacco if his best WR wasn't retired then unretired. There's a reason Rice was their leading pass catcher.

The Arizona defense was historically bad in the playoffs this year. How in the he!! did we lose to them so convincingly?

Those few games where we completely didn't show up I hope are a thing of the past.

I said the same thing. Once he staggered back to the bench I said that I think that hit may have made his decision for him. Not to mention that they were getting pummeled on the scoreboard.

He'll be back. I know it's not a popular opinion, but these old guys keep playing BECAUSE THEY GET PAID.

I like that he didn't just fold up, take the safe route, and walk to the other side of the field. You'd be surprised at how many QB's (even some of your favorites) have done that.

I'm pretty sure Warner isn't making his possible retirement decision DURING a game. He'll be back.

Joe Kapp is my favorite QB and he never walked away from anybody.

I hope he comes back and remains healthy. He's still easily one of the best in the league.

lots of truth there

his receivers may have be as bad as the bobby wade/taylor combination we enjoyed

Warner is going to be a HOFer but tonight he showed the soft underbelly that he has always had .

Smack him in the mouth a couple of times and he is not the same for a couple of weeks !

And most QB's are exactly the same but he gets the willies in that pocket faster and for longer after the beating than most !

He's been lucky the last few years that he has Wisenhut to design good schemes that protect him well most of the time . Because for more than a couple of years after the Greatest Show On Turf broke up he looked like he was done . Two hits a fumble an INT and route was on !

The Ravens did outrush the Colts by more than 2 to 1. Good thing it wasn't the SuperBowl.

Good point, but Fran never laid back either.  I remember a game where Coy Bacon (DTW) knocked out his front two teeth on an option play to Chuck Foreman.  Fran had oral surgery during halftime, came back in, threw two TD passes and won the freaking game.

That is tough.

Oh, no, Warner is our next "saviour" ..

After Arizona shows him the door or he "retires" there will be a huge sucking sound coming from all the Minnesota fans to have  the "only 38" (well, maybe 39 by the time the season starts...) seasoned, past superbowl winner, Kurt Warner, as the next "Viking's QB"...

Hey, once he puts on the jersey, everything is golden, he will do no wrong, we will win 14 games, and  this franchise will die again and again and again in the post season, when the TRUTH of this idiotic folly that many believe is "QBOTN" will be and is always EXPOSED.

retreads.. yea, a winning strategy for tires.. not football teams.

This season ends tomorrow.. well in about 13 hours, give or take.

Cheesbilly dickweed and his cluster **** collection of fawning, yellow bellied sap suckers, which are laughingly called "coaches", will be the first set  of nimrods to lose at home in the playoffs.

This is the moment that has been staring right down your collective faces for 8 months, but you have refused to see it or believe it was possible.

Enjoy your "wonderful ride" season of futility.

You know damn well that I am only saying what you are too ************ to admit to even thinking about, but it's eating at you, just the same.

That's my OPINION, and IDGAFF if you like it or not.

Actually I have expanded that this year to see how true it holds :

So far 34 of the last 41 SB's .

25 out of 33 bowl games .

And 4 our of the 6 playoff games this year so far .

Not bad when your WORST % is running at 66 % !

if/when the season ends tomorrow, you will get to enjoy the 6 months of will he/wont he retire, isnt life grand?

oh, i have seen it and believed it was possible, because unlike you, my emotions dont get in the way of reality

there are very few people that this scenario is 'eating at'.....who do you think the president of that club is? if you dont know, ask the guy in the mirror

That's my OPINION, and IDGAFF if you like it or not.

^^^^^that pretty much goes for everybody, these are just opinions, get pissed, insult people, dont insult people, whine, vent, whatever, nobody cares

I don't know how Cowboy fans are doing today. They should be nervous. I'm nervous and I root for the better team - that is playing at home!

It's foolish to lock this game in on either side. I am just happy for the chance to be nervous and excited today!
