I want to punch water in the face.

The other night - no pop, no milk, mo juice...stuck with water. Swear to G I had 3 large glasses within 15 minutes and kept retuning to bed parched. Dry as a bone. Water sucks.

I'm exactly the opposite. If I'm really thirsty water is the only thing that will quench it. I can drink pop, or milk, or juice and they only leave an aftertaste and the desire to rinse it down with some water.

I prefer Corona with a lime after a hard day at work.

If you have to add fruit to the beer to make it taste better, it's not a good beer.  You should try another beer.

There is something about Mexican beer that its a lot better with lime. It was served that way in Mexico. So when in Mexico, do what the Mexicans do. Drink beer not water.

Corona is basically devoid of flavor. So some acid from the lime, and especially salt, hit your taste buds pretty hard when you add them, especially if it's ice cold.

What would be the point of drinking beer that is devoid of flavor?

Corona is like making love in a canoe...it's ****ing close to water.

Because you're hot and thirsty. I like a full bodied craft beer as much as the next guy, but sometimes you just want something to slake your thirst. On a hot day, an ice cold corona withe a little salt and lime does just that.

I've met the guys that hate Corona, Miller Lite, Grainbelt, etc. And I guess not all of them are prissy snobs.

My man code is give me a cold beer and I'll drink it. It ****ing better than water.

My absolute favorite beer is Whicheverfreebeerishandedtome.

If the beer is devoid of flavor it is basically nothing but water.  So why not just drink water?

BTW if you're worried about drinking the water, remember that Corona's source of water probably from the same source as the drinking water.

It's simple. I like Corona with a pinch of salt and a squeeze of lime. Tastes nothing like water. It's damn good.

What is truly simple is this:  If you have to add things to it for it to taste good...it's not a good beer to begin with...JMO.

Hey, if you like Corona and feel justified in juicing it up...more power to you.

Barley, Hops, Good Clean water.

I don't like my beer fruity.  And if the beer does come out good and that's the way it was Brewed...Then it was brewed properly and you don't have to add anything to it to make it taste good.

My point has nothing to do with what ingredients are added during the brewing process.  Once it is bottled, one should, imho, be able to just pop the cap off that bottle (I hate canned beers) and drink it down without adding any additional fruit etc to it.

Take the talk of the fruity beers to the Chris Kluwe thread. He'll support your right to drink 'em.
