I actually thought I got a deal on the car a year ago because we knew the people.

Sounds like I paid about what it was worth.

Those are the ones you have to watch the most !

Your only chance is some stupid kid that steals it for a joy ride and wrecks it and that is more than 1 in a million !

This was my best chance? A wrecked car and a $500 payout? I think getting my car back after (if) it passes inspection is just a tad bit better of a scenario.

Maybe last time. I got a couple G when they wrecked it. The value of this car after the deductible would have only been $500.

How much did you pay for it ?

Wait don't answer that , IF YOU PAID MORE THAN $500 you got took !

So it's your own fault !!!

Next time you might do a little research before you fork over the money for something that is worth 25% of what you are paying !!!

The best learned lessons usually cost you the most !

YOUR 30 SOMETHING YEARS OLD MONKEY BOY TIME TO GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER AND MAKE BETTER DECISIONS !!!

Dude, I spent $2000 on this car a year ago with the $2000 payout from my previously stolen vehicle.

A year later I would get $500 - $1500 less the $1000 deductible.

It's a 2000 chyrsler cirrus - I don't see how I got taken.
[/quot

Is a years worth of transportation worth $1500 ?

If it is then you weren't taken .

I would say that the main part is the shitty insurance you bought !

You just had one stolen , didn't it cross your mind that the minute you paid the 2 G's for it and drove it off , if it got stolen the best you were getting was 1 G .

If you didn't think about that then you need to start MAKING BETTER DECISIONS LIKE I SAID EARLIER !!!

sounds like the hoopty may not have had a windshiled

reminds me of the POS car song from adam sandler

seems like you should not be carrying full coverage on that vehicle, it was screaming for liability only, however i dont know the canadian rules for insurance

1) The cops sure like to let you know early that they found your car.

2) They found my car.

3) This time, it was NOT wrapped around a hydro poll.

4) I sure hope my car is drivable.

5) Dan earning Fonzie cool points, Pete losing some.

What the hell is a hydro poll ?

You know, you take a pole - cars are run into polls.

Shut up Eduardo!

I know what a telephone pile is  and a fire hydrant is , but a HYDRO POLE ?

Canada really is different ?

Maybe he's referring to a fire hydrant?

Is it easy to find a saftied vehicle in the states for around $2000? Thought I was lucky to.

RE insurance. I have probably the most basic insurance one could buy.

Doesn't matter anyway. My wife called and after a quick inspection there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with my car so it looks like I'll be getting it back and making no insurance claims.

Here's some BS though. $30 some odd dollars to tow it from the compound to my mechanic - $280 to tow it from the parking lot it was ditched in to the compound because the police called it in.

WTF is up with that?!

$280 does seem like a fleecing to tow it from the site to the compound. But couldn't you just drive it from there to the mechanic or was it not operating to do so?

Where's the water?

What do they call it if the electricity is nuclear or coal generated?

We were told to get it checked out. That part was the $30 part.

The cops finding it and calling in a tow was what cost me nearly 10 X as much.

Now you shouldn't go around piquing our interest like that than pulling the rug out!  Everytime you got caught without a license?  Happened at least a few times then?  Don't ask indeed...  I have to...I can't help it...Why were you driving without a license for so long?

Our transmission system carries electricity from generating stations to local distribution companies and large industrial customers through our high-voltage network of transformer stations, transmission towers and wires. We own 97% of transmission in Ontario with almost 30,000 km of high-voltage transmission lines. We also own and operate 26 interconnections with neighbouring provinces and states, which allow electricity to flow into and out of Ontario.
Our distribution system delivers electricity at lower voltages to homes, farms and businesses through our network of hydro poles and power lines. Our network is the largest in the province, with over 123,000 km of wires serving 1.3 million customers, mostly in rural areas.

Wait - Eduardo - you are questioning Todd's decision making and then we find out you routinely drive without a license?

But why are they called "hydropoles" if they are delivering Electricity and not Water?

Don't get me wrong...America has a lot of crazy shit like this too.  I'm just curious.

Forgot to pay a ticket . Moved and the Pa DMV doesn't let it's mail get forwarded so I didn't know my license was suspended . Got stopped since my license was already suspended now it became a full one year suspension . I said **** that I am not stopping driving . Got stopped with 3 months to go to get my license now it is a two year suspension .

Said to myself I was so close and if I didn't stop because one year was to big an inconveinience I surely am not going to to stop for two . Kept driving got seven months from getting my license and got stopped again .

This cop says you if you get caught again you will be regarded as a habitual abuser and the judge has to give you mandatory jail time . I decided that going to jail was not in my future !

So after getting suspended for 3 years and 40 days I stopped driving .

You ****ing Asked !!!!
