At Yankee Stadium for the first time tonight ...

Dang Ricky you're living the life. Family dream vacation?

Made a deal with my son and he came through on his end so Im taking him to Cooperstown. Along the way we're going to all these games. Fenway tomorrow. Maybe Pittsburgh on Mon.

Pretty cool time. Thanks for asking

The games were so nice. Before this trip I'm wasn't sure I'd ever get to Yankee stadium. Now, I might get to a lot more if I live long enough.

We just got home a little bit ago. Total trip was 2793 miles. When I'd get to the game it was pure relaxation. I found I like games a lot when the Twins aren't involved. I don't care who wins - just take in the atmosphere and enjoy baseball ...

This was a great day... 8 months coming, but I am vindicated.

Enough said.

Just sold my first set of preseason tickets at a price lower than face value. While that sucks at first glance, nobody pays face value for them.

For the first time that I've seen, i can now list PS tickets below face value, so I can get something for them. Quite happy.

Yes, good for you, Dan!

Thank you, Bill. It was a very successful trip, imo.

Ive been giving plasma in Dubuque for a few months plus I had a bunch of Wyndham points for a couple nights worth of rooms so it was very affordable. I plan on start saving for next spring right now. West Coast!

At Fenway. Question: what's Pudge's legacy w/out the game 6 homer?

I think that we would go down as one of the game's best catchers (maybe better than Bench?). Probably also would be recognized for playing at a high level over twenty years at a physically demanding position. And that he played for the best team with "Sox" in their name...

I loved him! But the homer was an all-timer for sure.

You're a White Sox fan I bet. We were at the game where Thome beat the Sox on his extra inning homer at Target Field. My boy loves to recall listening to the Hawk on Youtube (which he can't stand) call that shot - or not say a word after he just got done saying, "If the White Sox win this game ..."

The Hawk is a legend, but kind of for all the wrong reasons. I love listening to him because of the bizarre moments he finds himself in, like the one you just described. Hilarious! But, yes, I am a White Sox fan. They play about 20 minutes from where I grew up, and about 25 minutes from where I live now. It sounds like you had an awesome trip, Ricky!

I have a lot great Sox memories. AJ killed us so many times. Ozzie provided so much entertainment. We happened to be at the game in the Dome where all the hats, etc were thrown on the field cause of Ozzie and the Twins ended up on Around the Horn - great stuff.

Donna worked at Midway before they closed. Loved going to old Comiskey.
