Just so there's not any confusion, I'm still a Wild fan first. But I probably like the Preds about as much as any "backup" team that I have in sports. What a fun ride.

I'm rooting for them. But I'm also rooting just as much for the party that this city will host if they win. Will be EPIC. Seriously.

That is NOT this town right now my friend. The growth here is insane the last few years. And not just "country". The rock scene has been booming.

You're thinking of Alabama. Or Mississippi.

Outside of maybe Vegas, Nashville is the bachelorette party capital of the world right now. Which is, umm, not a bad thing.

How do the Preds match up with each of these IYO?

You'll get the Pens, and probably beat them in 6 or 7
They simply can't keep up their pace.
And Rinne is your advantage over both of them.
You'll need to stay out of the box against either one.
Your shots from the D will hurt the Pens just enough to get you the wins you need.
Your latest loss of Johansen will be hard to overcome. He was huge for your attack.

Thank you sir. That's about what I've heard from others. Hope you're right.

Yeo adds a real genius to his staff .... that p.o.s. Ott.
So, anything the current bunch of thugs were unable to imagine, they will now get plenty of help perfecting it ....

The Blues sent at least two guys to the hospital this post-season.
Ott should be able to figure out a way to double or triple that number.

When it's Malkin doing it, it's "just a little slash."

You noticed that too, eh?

He's been such a rare bird
I mean I know he's good and all ... but what a goofy looking thing most of the time.
You can see some of the games jokers really give it to him out there. Seems like he's a little slow, and I'm not talking skating-wise.

They just need to use the Gorg method and keep the score at 0-0 as long as possible.....LOL.

Good news for both teams, they appear to have real NHL starting goalie-types.
(Pitt even has TWO of those)
