Man you handled that well.
All valid points.
Q is intimidating.
Your boys showing signs of life
Not a very familiar roster anymore except for the usual five suspects
Complete turnover for the rest
They have great scouts. They find little known vets in Europe that always seem to pan out.
Very well-run org.

Please change the rules for how we stock new teams to the league
The Vegas team is ridiculously loaded.
This isn't some fluke. Wayyyyyy too easy to build a great team immediately.

I'm going to take a good look at Vegas because they are playing here tonight. I want to see how they are doing it, because I thought they were going to fall off a little by midseason. I was very wrong

Loaded with really really good players
Each team in the league had to make available one of their very good players to them
Not the bottom feeding slugs that used to get exposed
Thee most un-expansion-looking team ever assembled.
And yesterday they signed Marchessault to a long deal.
Very solid roster. Frustrating to those of us who had to sit thru years of mediocrity.
When we came in, we had to share with Columbus. If Vegas had only half their choices, it'd be a different deal

Hawks played well against the oilers today. Two things about the Hawks I noticed, though. One is the subpar level of play from the defense. They are pretty slow and overpaid. The other thing is the power play. They went from being one of the best specialty units to being one of the worst in the NHL. That cannot be because of Hossa not being there. Bowman and company might have to dump some of those bloated salaries and chase some younger talent, and soon.

Joes post highlights the difference between fans of a team that's won three Cups recently, and fans of a team that's never even sniffed the damn thing.

Watched the game in Vegas last night
I knew there'd be a lot of out-of-town fans, but wow, didn't think it'd be that many.
Felt like a Rangers home game at times
Just a no brainer to have teams in Vegas
Half your ticket sales will always be the road teams

Knights were 200-1 to win the Cup at start of year
Currently, 7-1

Why such an attachment to a slightly over mediocre franchise that could never win the big ones?

FINALLY!!! Seabrook is a healthy scratch tonight. He's been a problem for the last two seasons. Hopefully, he either works his way back into all star shape, or he finds his way out of town.

Now, if we can put a shot across the bows of some other big money players with benching, they might wake up a bit.

Who is your biggest All-star snub? Mine is Voracek.

That's a good one. Terasenko, Kessel, and Sharp were all left off this year. So was Toews, but he has not played very well so I'm not going to take it personally.

I'm impressed, Matt!!!

Any all-star team that does not include Tarasenko ..... is NOT an all-star team.
That's a RIDICULOUS omission.

Wow. The Hawks lay down and take a 4-0 trimming from the awful wings. But the Vikings somehow made it all better.

Thanks for the concern, Sir. It is appreciated more than you know. I just talked to him about an hour ago. We probably should've let him rest up yesterday, but he wanted to watch the game with my kids and Dorothy. He sounded tired, but in way better spirits than when he was in the hospital. He has a few more tests to figure out how much damage his heart suffered, but he can do those as an outpatient. He's 83 and he doesn't see the point of going through all the "rigamarole" as he calls it, but he's a really tough guy. Thanks
again for thinking about me, SoMn.

Awful on the power play tonight. 5 on 3 for a minute, and we find a way to pass the puck out of the zone three times. The Indian Head is really playing some directionless hockey right now.

Is the NHL All-Star game on the radio too?

If not, I'll give you some PBP.

OK, no, I won't.

Yup, listening to this one too.
Our Central team just got beat.
Staal had fun, tho, so there is that .

And ... as usual, Patrick Kane will NEVER score a point for any team I want to win, so ....

Jagr released today.
cannot go out this way
And yes, I realize he will head to the Olympics probably ..
But he needs to get picked up by an NHL team, rack up a hatty, and leave the arena with a limo full of chicks
THATS how Jagr should go out of the NHL.
