IMO, we were out-talented but we out-gritted them. Counter punched them with great effectiveness. They pretty much dominated the puck but we struck when we could with great efficiency. Was impressive.

The Dallas Stars had six players and two staff members test positive for COVID-19, and the NHL expects the team will not open its 2020-21 season any earlier than Jan. 19.

Those who tested positive are self-isolating and following CDC and NHL protocols. The positive tests have forced the Stars to close their training facilities, and they will remain closed for several days while further daily testing and contact tracing is conducted.

Per NHL policy in the preseason, the names of those who tested positive were not released.

I’ve been waiting all day for tonight’s game. Two awful days of work will all be forgotten once the Hawks hit the ice. And, the penis with ears is calling the flyers pens matchup, so I don’t have to worry about hearing him for 2-3 hours. Life is good!

I just noticed that the Wild’s division has no original six teams in it. I’m not s fan of the realignment.

I think this is going to be a growing year for the Hawks. The vets look flat and not interested, but the young guys have some jump in them. I don't like that they gave the coach an extension ( who seems to be more famous for being Seabrook's buddy than anything else), but I'll take it if it means the team will be better next year.

Delia and Zadorov look pretty good in the back. I guess that's something.

Well, we are 0-3 and none of the games were even close. I guess it's time to get money for the big names and start the rebuild for the future.

Things are looking up a little bit in Blackhawkland. Kane is warming up and we might have a keeper in the net.

Seabrook is finally hanging up the blades and retiring the axe. He probably should've done it two years ago.

I haven't seen any Hawks games with our teams in different divisions this season, but it sure is nice having goalie shored up isn't it? With Talbot and Kahkonen the Wild are a much better team than they were with Dubnyk and Stalock.

You guys are good at goal. I was impressed with Talbot last time I saw him. And, you are on a heck of a home winning streak, right? It seems like the Wild are figuring some things out!

Watching the Blues and Avs with Duby in goal for the Avs.
Duby is still Duh-oh-Duby.
At least he will get plenty of goal support with the Avs.

The Habs are looking pretty good right now. They made last night's game a public whooping for the Jets.

Yup, I have been watching some of the Habs games and they are looking very good. They come at you in waves and never let up. The Jets with their goon style of hockey deserve the whooping too.

I hope the Habs get through this series. I love original 6 teams (except new york) and there isn't enough representation of those teams in the playoffs. I'd even pull for detoilet if they were there. God help me.

I hope the Habs get through the next round. Original 6 is where my loyalty lays. If it ain't the Hawks, let it be another team with some history.

I would love to see the Habs move on at the expense of the Knights and the refs.
