I half expect that idiot in charge to make every team surrender first round picks until Vegas wins it all.

Well, he may as well since getting the refs to favor Vegas doesn't seem to be working.......

So it will be the Habs vs Bolts for the Cup.
On paper it should be the Bolts, but the Habs are on a roll so it should be a good series.

I hate fireworks. I cringe anytime they are near me. Just so much risk for so little reward.

Really tragic. The kid was only 24 years old.

Tampa finished it off last night and deserved the Cup. They have a damn good group of players on that team and know how to play with each other. They seem to always be in the right spot at the right time and always have their sticks where they need to be defensively and offensively.

Just a killer that a Florida hockey team wins two Stanley Cups before a Minnesota team wins any. Things are not right in this world.

We have a niece who lives in Tampa. She told us that the Lightning are far and away the most popular sports team in the city and the hardest ticket to come by.

Minnesota has never had a top-notch Pro team in the state.
Our actual claim to fame is our High School Hockey Tournament and our college programs. They are what makes us the State of Hockey. The NHL comes in 3rd place to me, and rightfully so. Maybe Guerin can change that and build a contender, but we will see.

Not to mention they're one of the frontrunners to win their 3rd Super Bowl as well...

We lived there for a year and a half and she's right. I gotta imagine the Bucs may over take them for a bit but their owner is amazing and has done a great job.

I am ashamed of what's going on with the Blackhawks organization right now. If bowman gets to keep his job when all the dust settles, I will be very upset.

The hits just keep on coming for the Hawks. Seth Jones was a panic move by bowman. Drafting the brothers of teammates just seems silly. And rebuilding by trading away draft picks and signing your new toy to a massive contract makes no sense whatsoever. And now, we sign MAF from Vegas, who is talking about retiring. All of this plus the sexual assault coverup makes me wonder why stan hasn't been dropped like a bad habit already! He HAS to go.

It's certainly doesn't look good when you trade for a guy that was almost back stopping a cup team this year and he then contemplates retiring.

What's your take on non-tendering Pius Suter? Rookie year at age 24, he scores 14G/13A.

He seems to be the guy people over at Hockey Wilderness want us to sign.

He’s pure offense. He scored a hat trick against the bolts, which is no easy feat. I have no idea why they didn’t lock him up, but Stevie Y saw enough in him to sign him up. The Hawks are a huge source in frustration in my life right now.

It looks to me like they are trying to load up for one more kick at the can with Kane and Toews.
