He's an incredible story

Anyone watching the game, did you see blood? 4 minutes for a high sticking against Toewes. They show the replay and he's (Toewes) showing the ref his mouth, specifically. Before that, you had no idea because it was behind the play.

No blood, that I can see, So I'm assuming "2". They put 4 on the board and show the replay. Not only is there no blood, it wasn't even close to his mouth. The stick went up the side of his cheek.

4 minute power play and nothing to show for it. No rhythm on offense so far. And somebody please get Bickell off the ice. He's a complete waste of a roster spot right now.

The announcers make it sound like Kane knew exactly where that puck was going.........he just threw it towards the net and got lucky.

Haha! No doubt. You can't aim at something if you are facing in the other direction. That was a fast 20 minutes of hockey.

That was a mans game there.
Holy cow.
Two really good teams that know how to battle.
Classic series that has seven written all over it.

You got that right. Watching these two teams go at it makes it very clear why the Wild are golfing right now. We just aren't at their level yet.

Chicago is not big, but they skate so damn well, and are relentless.
Anaheim is big everywhere, and they also skate well, and are relentless.
Just don't see that needed extra level on enough of our guys, sadly.

I see the key word of relentless for both teams, but can honestly only say the same thing about one player on our team.....

Been thinking about it the past couple weeks while watching the other teams.
Imo, Parise would be killing it with any of the final four.
He'd be a top liner, and he'd be loving life. Not surrounded by whiffers.
We have a few others who could play, but only if they learned a new gear.
I mean, when a guy like Marian Hossa has become synonymous with relentless two-way play, you understand how it can be done.
Coyle and Nino could step it up enough.
I know people don't want to hear it, but Spurgeons our only clear D man who can skate well enough. Scandella, woops, him too.
Suters gotten too calm, and Brodins kinda lost at this point, and soft at times.
But once again, hey ... Stoner is playing big minutes, important minutes. It can be done.

The skating ability of guys like Oduya and Keith is so fun to watch.
These are world-class skaters trying to drive on them, and they never give in.
Odd-mans are so rare, good looks off the rush are so rare, and that's due to the skating ability of these remaining D, and their ability to close on the play once they enter dangerous areas.
