Are the tickets too expensive? What is going on?

Status: offline 		This Gophers team is full of cake-eaters and silver spoon brats that don't know what the word team stands for. Until Motzko gets some kids in that aren't all about themselves and are willing to sacrifice for the team it's going to be real hard to be a Gophers fan. Somebody needs to tell our defense that this isn't a no-checking league and it's legal to actually knock somebody off the puck. No wonder the stands are so empty and those that are there are sitting on their hands......

Status: offline 		Agreed boys, it's crazy. Stupid story. I was in DC, 2 best (local) friends. They were big time golfers, I was a hack.

"Lets book a Hilton Head week and rent a house. Golf everyday, party at night". They had me with the 2nd part.

Day....I don't remember.....I'll say 3. I'm 24, standing in a bar as a single dude and look up at the TV. For some weird ass, bizarre reason, they had the Gopher hockey game on live. I watched that thing and didn't blink. My boys thought I was crazy but I was in my own little world. I didn't care. I, like you said, lived for the program.

I've only watched bits and pieces of the recent games, and trust me, the results look better than the live action did. Sure they got a bunch of ties only to lose in 3 on 3, but Robson is keeping them in every game. Without Robson playing his ass off they wouldn't have a win or a tie this season! We are getting badly outshot every game and many of those shots are high quality chances.

Exactly what I was meaning
The end may look fine, but it's been an ugly way to get there
Lots of unrest. Understandable, with the change in coaches. Many of the planned recruits changing their plans quickly.
A couple others solidified their commitments.
I truly think if we let Motzko build a team, he will get this thing straightened out.
I've got a connection to one of the guys coming in next year or the year after. Will be fun to hear the inside scoop once in awhile.

You got to love getting four of the 5 highest level Minnesota programs in one Tourney. Gophers get home ice is big for them.

90% of the opponents who come to play against the Gophers dreamed their whole life of playing on Mariucci or the X.
Its the great equalizer. Every kid always has dozens of his supporters there, pulling for him.
And most nights now, "dozens" outnumbers all the Gopher fans. :)

Hard to have a 5 game tourney and we all know that UMD would be preferred to Bemidji so I guess UMD thought they had better things to do or they were afraid of Mankato and SCSU.

UMD wasn't on the level of Denver or SCSU last year. They were the last team to make the Tourney and happened to go on a hot streak in the tourney.
