Don't. They've done far worse to us.

Never feel bad for Nebraska. How many titles did they win from the 1970s to 2000?

I know you actually have to play 'em, but we should be 8-0 going into Penn State. That game will be huge. Looking at a minimum 9 win season, assuming a win over NW. Penn State, Iowa, and Wisc will be huge victories if we get any or all. Somewhere between 12-0 and 9-3 should be the outcome.

Wow, in my Gopher fandom lifetime we have never boat raced Nebraska like that. We were bigger and stronger…….THAN NEBRASKA I expected our athleticism to give them problems but not our strength. IT WAS NEBRASKA. Wow, just wow. What a great overall victory.

We're definitely better than usual, but Nebraska ain't what they used to be. A step up from our previous opponents, but no where near the top of the league. Next 2 games we'll be favorites and we have to take care of business there, but we'll find out who we are against Penn State.

My main complaint with PJ so far is his use of TO's. He burns them early in the half just to talk things over all the time. Not because we need to stop the clock.

Not me. I wish more coaches would use time outs like that. Usually you end up not needing all your timeouts and you leave them on the table. Use one once in a while in a crucial situation earlier in the half. Those situations are just as important to the outcome of a game.

I was thinking the same. I have memories that go back to the 60's.

Totally agree but I'm starting to get on this Fleck BW thing. We are 6-0 and we've played some pretty decent teams.

Last year the Gophers dramatically found a way to make it to a bowl game. This year they should have bigger aspirations. They will not win the Big 10, but they should make some noise and get a very nice bowl berth.

Our eyes are all starting to shift to you, boys.
You're all we have this Fall/Winter
PLEASE don't mess this up.
Just keep improving.
There's some really great things going on in the program right now.
We've always had some talented guys. But they are now surrounded by sound, physical, large, football players.
That's very different than the past.
Recruiting for depth is starting to show up. EVERY guy who now steps on that field is capable. Hasn't been that way in awhile.
Mason got close, Holtz knew what to do but wasn't here long enough, but this guy might have "it".
We've had some of the best RBs in the entire country, for decades. Not sure why, we just have. To finally add the pieces around them, is fun to watch.
Pound, pound pound. Then the next thing you know, the receivers are wide open. Hmmmm. (Can't drop that, kid)
Only slight disappointment? Game shoulda ended 42-0 or 35-0, you don't allow late stuff, when you are a truly loaded program.
The 2nd and 3rd stringers take it upon themselves to preserve the shutout. But that should come.
I LOVED that we looked for touchdowns on every drive. The first Minnesota team that figures that out will be the first one to go far.
Looks like a couple teams are just damn good again. We will lose a couple, but we have to be in the battle with them.
I hope the Wiscy game is a WAR. It should be. They will remember us making a big deal oout of that win last year.
Couple big ones before that, but looking ahead, that one could be a helluva fight.

After watching last nights game I have to admit my knee-jerk reaction to games early in the season where we struggled, but won was just that.....knee-jerk reactions.
Since that time this team has improved every game and built well deserved confidence along the way. It was so much fun watching them physically pound the Huskers over and over again.
Over the years there have been short stretches of promise only to be dashed quickly by powerhouses in the B10, but maybe Fleck has built a team that can finally compete with them as well.
If they keep improving like they have been they just may have a shot this year.

6-0 Time to be ranked. If not will we get it at 7-0? 8-0? Or do we have to beat Penn State to get into the top 25? Think of the recruits Fleck will be able to get with a ranked team considering he has been doing well without it.

WTF on the penalties on the punt. Why would we decline their penalty and let them enforce ours. Should have been offsetting and replay the down.

I questioned that as well. Fleck must have declined their penalty for some odd reason.

This is the first time the Gophers were on tv in my viewing area.

Very solid win. We wooped em from start to finish on both sides of the ball.

I think this team could be really good being they can both run or pass the ball.

“I thought we had a team that was ready to play,” Nebraska coach Scott Frost said. “We got pushed around on both sides of the ball.”

We need to be smart and not get caught up in the hype but we can be 8-0 going in to the Penn St game. And, quite honestly, we should be. That would be

Once Morgan started throwing dimes this has turned around....Teams can't just stack the box as we will beat them with the WR and TE, we have them guessing.

I'm a bobo, who has been amazed we weren't in weeks ago.
There's always a handful of slugs from 10-20 that we could beat .
Especially this year. We could play with any of them, imo.
