THAT would save the season for me, Jeff.
I love your optimism, I just cannot see us even keeping it close.
I'm hoping you're the right one.

Gopher Nation should be embarrassed. The offense has zero clue. As does the coach.

First down: Run for nada
2nd down: Gray in, another run
3rd down: pressure and Webber throws it away.

Wash, rinse, repeat. Too many times.

How can they keep Weber in  there after two fumbles and a grounding in the last three plays!?

Its brutal.  Rotate QBs, who does this?  Weber has completely lost his confidence.  One good run the entire game, the OC looks like a wannabe Spurrier.

EVERY Gopher came to play today, except for one.
I've ripped Weber enough, now I just feel sorry for hinm, and sorry for the team counting on him.
He's beyond brutal.
There is loyalty to a kid, then there is stupidity for playing him when he is completely and totally ineffective.
Its sad to watch.
I love seeing the enthusiasm of the sidelines and the defense today, they are saying they will fight for their jobs and their pride.
This could have easily been another 55-0 embarassment, it looks like it won't be, simply because there is fight in MOST of the program.
Hang in there, Gophers.

We came to play today.
The OC and the QBs suck, however.
Defense needs to go in at halftime and kick some ass.

And now the fing refs feel the need to get involved.
You tell me if Iowa doesn't chuck recievers like that?
God i hate Big Ten refs.
They hand in their testicles at the start of the year. Never make a call that upsets the home crowd. Pussies.
Our D is coming into its own. Handing out some beatings. I love it.

When did Bob Griese become such a jackass?
He used to seem so classy, spends most of the broadcast now whining and ripping.

3 brutal turnovers and its only 9-0.
Good Lord, Weber. Take a kneee, please.

When you cannot reach 100 yds passing week after week after week, you have SERIOUS issues.

Pathetic offense from the 2. Simply pathetic. Ram the stupid ball. Get a clue.

You didn't think the fade pattern to a 5' 10" WR was a good call?

I sincerely, truly hope that there's an open competition at QB next year.  Weber has regressed so far from '08 to '09 that it's really disturbing.

I really, really hate people who try to pee on your leg while looking you in the eye ...
Griese and his "its about the offenisve line" is so much bullshit.
Are they great? Absolutely not.
But any person watching this game and not seeing a LOT of time for Weber to make decisions is lying to themselves.
They are terrible at push to run the ball, they are NOT terrible at protect.
Watch the damn game. Blaming Webers failures as a passer on the line is bullshit.
#13 team in the country? If they are, we aren't that bad.

The defense isn't Minnesota's problem.  This year, at least.

The problem comes from the fact that nine of the eleven starters are seniors, including the entire front seven, and I'm not sure what's behind them for replacements.

Its like they have never thrown the ball to each other.
Almost 40 big ten starts for the QB and some of his receivers, and this is where they are?
Totally unacceptable.

no offensive tds 2 straight weeks. Solid way to close out the year. No rhythm, no flow.

Just B-A-D

How did they shred some other schools earlier this year? unreal. Yeah, some injuries, but this is just incompetent.

Radio guys didn't pick an offensive player of the game. Good. no one deserved it.  Tow-Arnett had ONE catch. ONE.

Disappointing way for the season to end. Dang - it should have been a wonderful season with the new stadium and the third year under a new coach, and some of the promising players that had been recruited...

Clueless coaching, plain and simple. Keep changing Coordinators  as quickly as Baseball managers go thru a bullpen in a close game. Not going to make a program work that way.

Scott don't give the offensive line and WR a pass at all. Weber did have another bad day, but this has to be the worst offensive line I've seen in Minnesota in years. And when they did give him time, the WR couldn't get seperation from the DB. This all goes on the coaching. No way should to WR collide with each other in the middle of the field

But his coach is worthless and wasn't ready for that job. I do agree they need to get some consistency in the coaching staff

If this guy wasn't ready, then Clueless Brewster should have figured that out.
