Yeah, Harrison held his man on that play and then complained! Brady is doing well overall but he can't hit Moss deep to save his life today. But it is opening up everything for Welker and Stallworth

Since the L.A. area doesn't have an NFL team, the league long ago designated the L.A. TV market a secondary market to San Diego. NFL rules say the TV networks have to show us any Chargers game on the road and any Chargers home game that's a sellout.

I've been getting a kick out of some of ProFootballTalk Emmitt Smith-isms so far this year. This is one of the best: On the Jets' quarterback situation, Emmitt said, "Until they change quarterbacks for the Jets, I am not believing in Chad Pennington." So, Emmitt, once Pennington is benched, he's your guy?

Nate Burleson is just not a #1 WR. No Darrell Jackson. Branch is hurt.... Seahawks are pretty bad right now because there are no WR's on this team.

Brady Sets NFL Mark Sun Oct 14, 2007 AP reports New England Patriots QB Tom Brady became the first NFL quarterback to throw at least three touchdown passes in each of the first six games of a season when he had three in the first half against Dallas on Sunday. Former San Francisco QB Steve Young threw at least three touchdowns in each of the first five games of the 1998 season. Brady matched his season and career high by adding his fourth TD pass in the third quarter, a 1-yarder to TE Kyle Brady. That increased Tom Brady's NFL-leading touchdown total to 20. The six three-TD games in a season are already a career high for Brady, who had five in 2002, and has 25 in his career. He had at least three TDs only twice last season. A 12-yard pass to WR Wes Welker with 3:34 left in the first half was Brady's third of the game, and the second TD catch by Welker, who earlier had a 35-yard score. Brady threw a 6-yard TD to WR Randy Moss on the Patriots' first drive of the game. Brady threw four TDs in the third game against Buffalo, and had three in the other four games before Sunday.

Brady = MVP. It's as much of a no-contest as Peterson for ROY. New England is not losing a game this year unless Brady gets hurt. We're witnessing history folks.

There is always some team that comes along and surprises the seemingly unbeatable juggernaut. Though I don't see who (other than the Colts) can beat the Pats right now...there is always some team that comes along and plays spoiler. And then there is the whole playing for a championship thing. Belichick would more likely sit his starters once he has home field wrapped up to keep them fresh and uninjured. However, I think the AFC could very well have a 16-0 and a 15-1 team playing against each other this year in the AFCCG. Best game of the year is scheduled for November 4th in Indianapolis.

I think the Pats will still murder the Colts actually. Just better overall on both sides of the ball in EVERY facet. I still see them winning by 2 td's. Hell, they should have beat the Colts LAST year and obviously have gotten a LOT better while the Colts have regressed. I'm just happy that Brady finally has WR's to match Peyton's. I always said he was better than Peyton, and now they're on a level playing field and we're seeing just that IMO.

Sorry, huge Pats lover/respecter here. It's the "perfect storm" year. Added the missing pieces, their best players are in their prime, and the NFL has pissed them off. (spying bs) What you notice about them is, when top guys sit out for suspensions or injuries, they still win, their replacements are tremendous, and guys continue to support each other. Think Maroney just got a message the past couple weeks? It's like "we will win without you, but please hurry back". Just a juggernaut right now. Having fun, rolling, taking punches and still standing. And they are run by cold-blooded killers. You could feel it getting uncomfortable out there with the big lead and a few minutes left, most "nice" NFL teams take a knee (ouch) and shake hands. Nope, smash in another touchdown. Yeah, you hate it when it happens to you, but when you want to be the best, you don't worry about how others look at you. You could see Phillips was rashed about it, but what can he say? Shut up and stop them. The Pats are relentless with all parts of the game. they drive each other. Moss is a perfect fit for that mentality. Undefeated? Very very possible.

Umm, did anyone else know that a game in 2 weeks is going to be held in LONDON? Giants/Miami. Crazy. And I guess there's talk of a SuperBowl being held in London soon. That would be wild. Anyone been to that stadium (Wembley) in London? How is it? That has to suck for the Giants/Dolphins though. Somebody loses a home game PLUS the travel schedule.

Basketball had preseason games and are thinking of regular season games over there and Hockey had the Ducks and Kings open their seasons over in London. They are all just looking for a couple extra dollars while the players suffer the jet lag.

In an afternoon meeting with reporters at Giants Stadium, Goodell said he loves having loud, enthusiastic crowds at games but wonders whether the offenses of visiting clubs should have to suffer when their players can't hear quarterbacks' signals. Goodell said that he and members of the league's competition committee will study possible remedies, including a suggestion to place radio receivers in the helmets of other offensive players so that they can hear the quarterback over the crowd noise. Terrible idea. If you want to make the game better make everything reviewable and give two challenges but DON'T take one away when you were right and the call is reversed.
