I'm certainly old enough to, but I don't really remember Marshall at SDSU. More than likely, its becuz his school hardly ever played a memorable game.

Could also be becuz I'm not as young as I think I am and my memories of insignificant moments are starting to slip lol

SDSU was why I put the semi-caveat in about 2 games. Not sure how I even caught 2 but he was awesome in them. Small sample size but it was pretty damn obvious.

There is so much parity in college football.

That being said Meyer pretty much laid an egg virtually abandoning Elliot yesterday

I didn't get to watch but Barry Sanders prolly had the greatest college season ever

My former boss played a college game against him and tells a story of tackling Sanders. Sanders gives him a hand up and says "great tackle". The next play Sanders takes it like 60 yds to the house lol

I think the MSU defense rendered Elliot useless.

Elliot says he's done. Going pro now.

Oregon playing some good ball, finally, but I think the Pac-12 gets left out.

I think we end up with Clemson, Alabama, Michigan State, and a Big 12 school.
I'm ok with that.

As an Oregon fan, alum, and season ticket holder, I have to say that being out of contention has been a nice break from the stress, scoreboard watching, and travel planning I had to do in years past.
We're reloading and looking tough in two years.

He was a jerk. I think Meyer made a huge mistake though not running him more, possibly cost himself another shot at winning it all.

Steve,
You think Nebraska will make a run at Scott Frost?

What about the media darling Notre Dame?

Not that I think they should even be considered.

Not yet. Which could certainly delay the day he actually does come back. They aren't going to get rid of Riley after 1 year.
Is he the reason your offense looks as good as anybody's?

I will say there are few things in sports that I like better than Meyer losing.

Nobody still giving Iowa a chance. I'm not a fan but they are undefeated in a Power 5 conference. If they win next week and al 3 (MSU, OSU and Iowa) are all 10-1, how can you pick one over the other?

3 10-1 teams and you just take the B10 Champ (because the other guys loss came earlier in the year)? That seems a bit short sighted to me. I would love to see ND and Alabama lose again so they are forced to take 2 B10 teams.

BTW- this "conference champ is a shoe in" and ND can get in without having to play that game is BS, IMO. ND should be forced to join a conference if this is the way the committee is going choose.

Our loss last year was much worse (a bad VT team), vs a top 10 team

That being said, we will also likely lose to Michigan so not gonna matter anyway

For all the talk of parity in the NFL I think there is a ton in CFB

Florida, GA and SC were all pushed to the limits yesterday (although GA SO is a good football team)
