Wisconsin beats LSU.

I feel like crap no matter which team won. Nice win for the Big 10. Now I'm going to wash my mouth out with soap.

Did not see that one coming. Wisconsin's QB is pretty nice, and LSU probably didn't bring their best game today. Like you said, good win for the B1G.

Houston vs. OU was fun too. 2 of the top 5 lose in the first weekend. Great to see college football back!

Some were picking OU as the National Champ. I suppose it could still happen, but that was a big upset.

Houston is a really, really good football team.

Extremely well coached on offense and defense.
Punched their ticket last night.
We're almost one week in and Alabama, Houston, and Clemson are locks for the CFP.
Mark my words.

I hope Houston does make it. They absolutely looked the part on Saturday. They didn't look like some midmajor using trick plays and luck to get by OU. They outplayed them, pure and simple.

Toughest hurdle remaining is a game at Louisville, which will be a challenge.

Week 1 and you already got 3 out of the 4 CFP spots spoken for! You're a braver man than me. College football is so unpredictable.

Kudos, Mike Riley, for taking a delay-of-game penalty on Nebraska’s first punt play of the year to honor late punter Sam Foltz, who died in a car accident in July. Looks like there wasn’t a dry eye to be found when Nebraska lined up with 10 players and no punter on the play. (Fresno State coach Tim DeRuyter declined the penalty, too.)

How about those Bison beating Iowa on the road with a last second field goal.

Only bummer is it will lessen the impact of the Gopher victory over them.

Thrilled to see Mike Riley beat his old rivals. Hopefully he can continue to add some more talent for the Huskers in the next few years.

Yeah. We have a good thing going with your guys.

Stick has been OK so far this year. When he hits his stride, we will really be dangerous.

DeLuca looks like he will be drafted at least by the 3rd round next spring and Urzendowski has some Thielen in him.

Not trying to take a shot at your Cornhuskers but I'm wondering if the Bison have just as many Pros right now as them.Edit: Just looked it up. You guys are way ahead of us.

Calls for going to the FBS will become louder. We are just in a tough position with only have the FargoDome to play in (20,000 capacity).

I realize this wasn't directed to me, but one of the local articles estimates there were over 7,000 NDSU fans at Kinnick stadium, which would comprise roughly 10% of the crowd.

I was over in Boone, IA today, and on the drive back to Cedar Rapids on Hwy 30, we saw many ND plates. Not sure why they were taking that route, but it might have been to avoid heavy traffic on other routes like I-80 or Hwy 218. We also saw several NDSU fans at a DQ in Marshalltown who were on their way back from the game.
