Bama runs away this half.
Saban is clearly superior to Swinney.

Not so fast my friend.

Exciting game.

Great game.
Can't believe they're playing this after midnight though.

That was one of the best games I've ever seen. Nice job, Clemson.

Just glad to not hear the SEC chant.

I'll root for a team of Demons, Pedophiles, and Terrorists against the SEC.

Extremely entertaining game.

This ranks right up there with the Texas/USC game many years ago

Was glad to see Clemson go for the win there with only 6 seconds left. Showed some guts.

Vikings would have went for the FG

And until that attitude changes we will never win a thing, IMO.

Can't say I liked either team ....
But I LOVED the play calling.
Down the stretch, still using pitches, throwbacks, etc ..... Love the ingenuity and using it the entire time.
Kiffin gets crap, but I love how he built that offense and was never afraid to stick up for himself.

Watson has gone back to back 400 yards passing in the national title game against Bama and what a few were calling the best defense in college history

Won't say that now will they?

Big Ten fans, take notes. As I have been saying all bowl season, if your conference has no quarterbacks, your defenses will always look better than they really are. Alabama found out the same lesson last night.

Perceived Great Defenses in 2016

Michigan gives up 33 L
Ohio State gives up 31 L
Penn State gives up 52 L
Alabama gives up 35 L

Both games were dominated by a great college QB.

If there was 1 second left it would have been guts.

Alabama should have just tackled the receivers on the last play.

Then we have one play from the 1 yard line for all the marbles.

I still think Clemson goes for the win though.

That would have been dirty football but within the rules I guess

If they are not going to call picks(the last play wasn't though), you have to do something.

If you are an upstart who doesn't belong you can do that

if you are big bad Bama that would be a cowardly act to do

The one Bama CB did tackle his guy.

I know. In hindsight, they both should have.

I agree. With no timeouts, Dabo would have had to make a quick decision on what to do next from the 1-yard line and one second remaining. I would have forced his hand and sold out on the quarterback.

Harbaugh just said he fell asleep during the Alabama/Clemson game.

Some would say he fell asleep during the Michigan/Florida State game.

That's like the Packer pushoff on the Hail mary. Absolutely no reason not to. Worst that can happen is the end of the first half.
