Did Musgrave win a Dr Pepper fan appreciation game or something? Alabama just let him call plays for a series

Ripping off 10 yard + runs and they go to the pass???

The last 2 runs got them 4 yards, and left them with a 3rd and 6.

They have over 300 yards rushing already. I wouldn't stop that. I would make them stop it.

They're not stopping it. The threw a pass on 3rd and 6.

Then they threw a 45 yard TD pass.

So you don't need a high % of certainty in college review to overturn a call?

Where's Danimal to defend his boy Pelini after such a predictable performance in a big game against a pathetic opponent who's only there because the decent teams are prohibited from playing in the game?

Is Nebraska under the impression that the B1G Championship Game is tomorrow night or something?

Awesome. . .the sixth-best team in the conference is going to beat the third-best (at best) team in the B1G for the right to go to the Rose Bowl.

Is Ohio State off of probation yet?

I only watched a few minutes of the game but boy did Wisconsin ever get lucky. First because Ohio State wasn't eligible to play and second because Nebraska is completely unable to tackle. I guess the world gets the joy of seeing Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl again.

man you are soo far off base and out of touch i couldn't find you with a hubble telescope even if i cared.. first of all, i am not a "fan of nebraska" second, i said to my other big ten conference friends, that Nebraska would find out that they were not "perennial champions material because the level of competition is much higher in the big ten.

Third , you are soooo typical of the arrogant nebraska fans who crow about your victories and then turn right around and rip on everything and everybody on "your" team the second they fall behind or get beat..

Did you and daddy have a good time cursing and screaming at Pelini when the players failed to tackle and couldn't get to or contain the edge on play after play after play?

i'm actually glad they got beat... nebraska is a sham has been for a long time, and hasn't been a decent or honorable, respectable program since Osborne retired..

you got and get what you deserve..no respect and futility.

I wanted Pelini exposed so I have no idea what the hell you are talking about. This is not a new phenomenon of course.

Sounds to me like you've changed positions which is fine. You went from his biggest defender to wanting the team to get beat.

It's about time you came to your senses. As far as the big 10 being better than the big 12, you don't really believe that crap do you?

And don't forget being lucky enough to be in the Leaders division. Wisconsin's 4-4 conference record would put them behind 3 teams on the Legends side...

Oh so what!  It is what it is.  Wisconsin could have beaten almost any team in the nation the way they played the Big Ten Championship game!  They smacked Nebraska in the mouth and Nebraska had no answers for the run game.  Don't blame Wisconsin for Ohio State and Penn State being inelligible.  What were they supposed to do?  Turn down playing in the game?  Thats like all the uproar about N. Illinois getting to go to the Orange Bowl....Do I think they should be there ahead of the likes of Oklahoma, Georgia or some of the other power house teams?  No I don't, but I doubt N. Illinois is apologizing for being picked and I just can't see them bowing out because they feel some other team deserves it more. (N. Illinois lost to Iowa this season).  You play who your scheduled to play......

Wisconsin didn't lose a game by more than 7 points all season and played 3 overtime games ..... They were actually picked to win the Leaders Division but just didn't play well this season.  They should have been playing at the level they played the other night all season long.  Gotta wonder if they mailed it in some because they knew they didn't have to be perfect to get into the Championship game?  Its certainly possible. Embarassing if you ask me and very much a coaching issue....but still possible!

If Wisconsin plays against Stanford the way they did against Nebraska....it should be a pretty good game.

I'm so embarrassed by Nebraska's performance...horrible. No excuse.

But Wisconsin came to play...the desire and will to win was palpable.

There is no way Stanford will allow them to do what they did to NU, but that will be a good game.

Nebraska OTOH, plays GEORGIA?!!

omfg...might be worse than the Wisconsin and OSU games...

I always look forward to the Bowl game, but not this one...and certainly not looking forward to the hangover to follow

What's worse is the hangover will last ALL OFFSEASON...

He's amazing.
And fun as hell.
But I'm still not sure, either, Ian.
Its so weird ... he's one of those guys that doesn't knock you off your feet with anything he does, until you realize he's doing all those things much better than anyone else.
Sure, Okies D sucked ... but he's also gotten it done against some great defenses, too.
Just an incredibly fun guy to watch, imo  ... with huge intangibles.
I know its sacrilege to ever compare anyone to this guy .... but he reminds me of Gretzky.
Not physically imposing, yet intimidating. Not brilliant, yet frighteningly smart.
Like Gretzky, imo ... his biggest asset is KNOWING the game and SEEING the play develop sooner than everyone else.
Anticipates and creates like no other. Special player.

Hard not to like him.

Just turned 20 and after one of the more amazing games ever, he gave all the credit to his O-Line and talked about things he needed to do better.

And he can throw the hell out of the ball. May not have the biggest arm (but likely will still get stronger), but has amazing accuracy and touch.

There are some geniuses coaching small-college FB (compared to some pro teams)
So much more innovative, so much more aggressive, I just love the huge array of offensive and defensive calls they allow themselves.
Such fun FB.
It can get stale at our highest level.
It shouldn't.

Partly because the Old Boys Network keeps getting recycled, and they think their way is the only way. 2 decades behind reality.

It will be good for the game if Chip Kelly takes a position.

I'd like to see Chad Morris coordinate in the NFL too.

If it wasn't for missed tackles, Te'o would be getting shut out on the box score.
