Yeah, not a believer in Miss St. At all.

Don't need to see them in the playoffs. Theyre one and done for sure.

Even though they win that game against Alabama if not for the goofy reversal of the goal line fumble?

Miss St wont stay ahead of TCU.. TCU won on the road; Miss St didn't.

Alabama might jump TCU. In fact, I expect it (and have no issues with it).

Not buying that. They scored a truly garbage time TD to make the game appear closer than it was. You're not going to win most games throwing more INTs than TD passes.

Miss St is whatever. Theyre running options and pitch plays on 3rd and 6.. really? And they expect to win?

I watched the game, Miss State did not look very good and the game was not that close.
Alabama, once again, is the one really good team in the Conference everybody else is average to pretty good.

Well said, we've said it all before, but it falls on deaf ears.
The SEC has a confidence problem.
They talk big, but their actions are like that of someone who is very insecure.
They will start scheduling known programs now, but it will be Syracuse, Indiana and Kansas.

In other words, basketball schools.

That's funny. Because that's exactly how you come off in your desperate attempts to prop up the Pac 10.

It's now the 12 PAC.

What did you think of the game today?  I was extremely disappointed with the crowd.  The game:

1.  It was what I thought, your athleticism was the big difference.
2.  That fumble in the red zone, on the jet sweep, kept us in the game.  It was about to get ugly before that.

Good game.

Yeah I knew it would be under the spread and fairly close. I think we had a huge advantage at QB. Not so sure Miller will get his job back

I hadn't watched Leidner but u guys could prolly use an upgrade there

kills done a nice job. Some talent on that team.

Our Defense is very vulnerable at times

Give us a Final Four of Alabama vs Ohio State and Oregon vs Florida State and lets settle it on the field.

After three years in the program, one redshirt year and two starting, should Jameis Winston still need the plays on a wrist wrap?
Will the NFL allow that?

Is it working?

Yes, many NFL QBs have their plays on their wrists

The last team I have seen hated as much as this FSU team was probably the famous UNLV basketball team with Larry Johnson and Augmon etc.

Yet the still have not lost a game in 2 years

weak schedule
Look bad
too many INTs
fall way behind every game

and then wins

Seems like they turn it on whenever they want to. Putting any one loss team ahead of them is nonsense.
It's easy to dislike Winston. His body language/demeanor on the field is terrible. NFL comparison: Jay Cutler?

I would be okay with that, but I don't think Ohio State is worthy of a final four appearance. Their defense is very suspect.

There is still a lot of football to be played, but I still think Alabama is the longest shot of those four teams to make the final four. Mississippi State looked like a better team to me on Saturday and made some critical mistakes to cost them the game.

One thing is for certain, the SEC West took some serious body blows to their reputation yesterday. LSU getting shut down by Arkansas and Auburn getting blasted by Georgia may have pollsters rethinking their lofty rankings for the Western teams. Missouri also beat A&M...once a darling by the pollsters.

Bama and Mississippi State are the only two teams that look remotely complete on paper.

Missouri could win a second straight East title. That, in itself, is a statement. They rarely won jack shit in the Big 12!

Only in the SEC is beating themselves considered a sign of greatness.
I suppose they also consider beating themselves as Sex?

I'd also tell my QB to learn the fubbing plays.
I see wrist wraps in the NFL on rookies and just actiavted/signed guys, I don't see them flapping around on 3 year guys, and if I did I'd tell him to learn the fubbing plays as well.

FSU certainly has talent. But this year's team is not last year's team. They don't have a single win against a top 25 team. Not one. And they've won a LOT of close games. Think about that for a second. Honestly, if they didn't win it all LAST year (which should have no bearing on this year IMO) they might not make the playoff, even undefeated, with their body of work this year.

As for the SEC, again, I don't get it. Mississippi State lost a close road game against the nation's best team. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if Alabama is #1 in the new rankings. They're already #1 in Vegas and the "best" team in the nation according to them. There would not be a single team in the nation that would be favored in a neutral site game against them. Yet some suddenly feel Mississippi State is "exposed" by losing a road game to them? If anyone really thinks that Alabama is vastly better than Mississippi State/Auburn/Ole Miss/Georgia, and even LSU then we are clearly not watching the same games. Because all those teams are very, very close. So again, you either have to believe that they're ALL overrated and not that great, or they all are some of the best in the country. I know which one of those passes the smell test to me.

I think at this point it's certainly going to be Alabama/Oregon/FSU/Miss. St. There's just no rational argument for a 1-loss TCU or Baylor team over a 1-loss Miss. St team.

But again, ANY of the top 7-8 teams in the county could easily lose again. FSU to Florida, Bama to Auburn or in the title game, Miss. St. to Ole Miss, Oregon in the Pac12 title game, TCU to Texas (or anyone after their embarrassing showing against Kansas), Baylor to OKSt, Ohio St. in the Big10 title game....

Wouldn't shock me in the slightest to still see Ole Miss or Georgia sneak back into the playoff picture by the end of the next 3 weeks.

At this point I would happy to see a 2 loss SEC Patsy like Georgia or Ole Miss get in.
Oregon would only need to score about 15 points to win against them.
