If Alabama loses, I don't want to hear another pundit talk about SEC football for eight months. If they get rolled, I don't want to hear about them being THE power conference for another three years.

I'm with you brother! For such an awesome conference they sure produce some lousy next level qb prospects!

Ole Miss joins LSU as the latest SEC fraud to expose themselves.
Funny things happen when you don't play SEC and Southeasten Arkansas State.

Miss State will be next.

As I said all along, Alabama good, rest of SEC not really all that.

Murf is a wise one.

Well they are against lackluster SEC offenses.

Who is the last great NFL QB from the SEC not named Manning?
Newton?
Cutler?

And if they win yet another National Championship?

Good hedge.

If they win another championship, so be it. The shine is off the conference. The win would be all about Alabama, not the SEC.

Mississippi St has a high school defense by the looks of it. Good thing they played tons of crappy SEC qbs and offenses.

Bingo! Florida St won a national championship from the crappy ACC of last year.

This is where it gets a little silly.

Which conference is the top QB producer? All else suck?

Hey, Quincy Carter carved himself out a nice back-up (and started one entire season) NFL career, just like Dennis Dixon.

The lowly big 10 has a better track record with qbs.

This is my point. I hate the conference debates, discussions and pissing matches. Conferences are no longer necessary in major college football. First of all, most people can't even keep track of which conference their Alma Mater is currently in.

Conference loyalty is a thing of the past. There is no loyalty by the schools. Throw enough money at Mizzou and they end up in the SEC.

'Bout time to do away with conferences in college football. Best move CFB could make, for the long term.

You ever see anybody get fightin' mad over AFC v. NFC?

Time to let the team shine.

Good post! I think most are tired of hearing every commentator kiss the SEC butt. That's what the reaction is to.

Going back how far? What is the criteria?

Right now, you think the Big10 has the best QB representation in the NFL?

Like the info, somewhat dated and numerous omissions, but my point is that there is no such thing as QBU. Or QB Conference. More today than every before.

Hell, LSU was anti-QBU, then along came Jamarcus Russell.
