In his major league debut, Tigers third baseman JaCoby Jones records the go-ahead RBI in the sixth inning in an 8-4 win over the White Sox.

here you go Matt

The Indians and Athletics have announced a deal that sends veteran outfielder Coco Crisp to Cleveland in exchange for lefty Colt Hynes. MLBTR’s Steve Adams first reported that a deal was nearing and that Crisp had waived his no-trade protection (Twitter links), and John Hickey of the Bay Area News Group reported that the swap was finalized.

I have a new favorite player.

Saw it made the rounds during the USBank debut ... wanted to die in shame.

I long for the days when our grandchildren ask "wave? what?"

Ricky Nolasco shut down Reds

The Angels starter tossed a shutout and struck out seven batters in a 3-0 victory over the Cincinnati Reds.

That's soooo wrong. Its just sooooo wrong.
I picked a helluva season, to give up sniffing glue.

Made a drive by about it in the game thread. Best performance of his life.

If he does it again, I may get on board with contraction.

I caught a glimpse of my reflection while I was reading about Ickeys gem.
I looked just like Lloyd Bridges.
The Twins do that to you.

And they were playing with an empty gun. No Trout or Pujols.

Nolasco doesn't need run support. Just eventually work one over, I'll do the rest.

I'm guessing Deolis Guerra takes over as the Angels' closer with Fernando Salas gone? 2.72 ERA, 0.86 WHIP, and 30/3 K/BB in 43 innings.

Atlanta with a sweep. now 2 games up on the Twins with 51 wins.
