Garza looked good for the Brewers today, collided while covering first, had to come out
Kinda surprised he's still making money.
But glad he is. I liked him most of the time.

I'm starting to think the Astros shredded our pitching, because we had just faced Colorado before ...
That lineup flat-out mashes too

Teams are going to have to be loaded with pitching if they want to stop a Colorado/Astro WS.

I'm probably the last person to preach patience ... but we sometimes forget how damn tough the game can be.
The top 6 struggling young phenoms ... and our guys are nowhere on the list.

http://www.12up.com/posts/5073427-6-top-young-players-having-shockingly-bad-seasons?a_aid=36534

Many of these were called sure things as well.
IT TAKES TIME.
And sometimes, it never happens. Gotta remember to breathe.

That's what I don't get. Love it, but don't get it.

Excelling away from home. That should give them a pile of confidence at home. But, no.

Happy for long-term guys like Ed, SteveO, Miles, Matt ... others ....

So great to have a team worth watching as we head into June.
Sure theres going to be some sucky stretches.
But theres depth again. Theres real hope, not the media kind.
Some real players to pull for again.
And ... thank you, guys like Dozier, (and sometimes Mauer) ... for holding this p.o.s-driven ship together as well as you could by yourself.

Still waiting on Dozier to get hot.

Hopefully soon. Need as many oars in the water as possible(channeling my Gopher FB)

Happy for you too dude. Makes those night shifts more tolerable, eh??

He'll come around.
I honestly think right now he's simply loving life ... doesn't have to carry the bus every night, can just ride along.
He'll start missing the spotlight soon.
And when he startsmashing again? Look out.

White Sox blew one today and gave up a painful walk-off homer to the Tigers
Love it when their broadcast crew pouts like little babies.

Tanaka has been figured out.
Had thought he was a sure thing for the Yanks, nope.
Going thru one of those phases where he can't get anything past people.
Will be interesting to see if he rights his ship.
