I sure hope his Loria sale goes through to one of these groups. There's pretty much no way a Jeter/Jordan group, or a Jeb Bush group, can be worse for FL fans than Jeffrey Loria. What a crime he's committed on those taxpayers. The only thing that sucks is that when he sells he will have made about $1B profit over that 15 years of owning them.

Would like to see if that city can be a real baseball town again. I think it can with the right ownership. I remember going to a game a couple years ago with I believe Lincecum and Fernandez going, and there couldn't have been more than 8,000 people there. We got in for around $10 each with great seats. I didn't get in on All Star tickets this year because of that experience. A buddy of mine did and wasn't able to sell his extras for even half face value.

Just a terrible thing they've been for baseball down there.

I cared more about the All-star game when it was for WS home-field advantage. No idea why the players would oppose that.

What is up with these A-Rod on-field interviews between innings? Very awkward.

Murf will love this. Keith Law ranked Frazier as a better prospect than Judge.

p.s. I already can't stand Aaron Judge.

That's what's great about the baseball All-star game. Even though it means nothing now, Jose Ramirez steals a base to get into scoring position. You wouldn't see effort like that in any other All-star game.

The lawsuit trying to take a building owned by a season ticket holder takes the cake. The man is just a perpetual embarrassment to MLB.

Anyone else nauseated seeing that huge crew of Yankee athletes celebrating together last night?

Apologies Pete, SMF, and Dave (Harrington); it's mainly jealousy. Felt like a foreshadowing of a future WS celebration. Once they add beasts Torres and Bird to that group? Oh my.

My typical ... "man, when I was a kid" post .....

But seriously, the AS game when I was growing up was a highlight of the summer.
Loved seeing Twins participate and do well, loved seeing the stars shine.
I remember how damn hard everybody played.
I still remember being sick when Harmon suffered his terrible injury, loved seeing Reggie hit the roof in Detroit, still hate Pete Rose for ruining Fosse's career.
But the point is, the game was played like a death match some years.
This one tonights not bad. Brings back some memories.

These interviews with guys on the field are just awkward. Not to mention Bryce Harper brings up football with Joe "asshole" Buck during baseball's showcase. Not a fan.

And get off my lawn.

My dry, brown, lawn.

I'm a lawn guy
And I'm losing mine.
Spending way too much time watering lately.
I've found it does work well, tho, when up on the roof, very good coverage.
