Good ol' Oakland. Runner gets 3rd base on a simple error at 1st base.

And there's a run. Thanks to the Colloseum.

That's actually pretty big news in our division.
They have some tough decisions to make on guys.
Hard to say where they are at over there. Rebuilding or stagnant.
They seem to know what they are doing. And just having Tito will always make them relevant.

I think Cleveland is pretty well positioned to reload quickly. They have a great 1-2 at the top of the rotation, Franmil Reyes was a great pickup.

It will be interesting to see how hard they try to keep Puig. I don't think Tito was at all impressed with his attitude. I can see them deciding that Puig is such a dick that it isn't worth keeping his talent on the roster.

Yes
It depends on how much they want to take
Traded one jerk for another

I never understood why San Diego traded away Franmil Reyes.

The Indians were the clear winners in that 3 team trade.

Franmil Reyes.

Sounds like something from the old Kukla, Fran, and Ollie Show.

ESPN headline says Diaz shrugged off Pressure homers twice

I guess journalists still don’t get that some athletes aren’t bugged by the situation

I don't think Puig will want to say in Cleveland. Not a big enough market for him.

The Tribe attendance hasn't been great and they may need to make some of their moves based on declining revenue. That said they still have tremendous pitching and a great manager.

Mickey Callaway fired by the Mets after 2 seasons

Guy wasn't that bad.

More proof that "good" isn't good enough in a lot of places.

Wouldn't be surprised if this year's success opens some doors for Derek Shelton. He was the Twins second choice when they hired Rocco. Instead he came on board to be Rocco's right hand man.

Widely loved in the dugout
Was fun to get to see more of him in the celebration in Detroit
Guy is pretty damn sharp
And once again, Rocco man enough to admit he was lucky to have the support

Wow

A public relations employee for the Los Angeles Angels told federal investigators that he provided oxycodone to Tyler Skaggs and abused it with him for years, and that two team officials were told about Skaggs' drug use long before his death, according to two sources familiar with the investigation.
Eric Kay, the Angels' director of communications, also gave U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agents the names of five other players who he believed were using opiates while they were Angels, the sources said.
Kay's attorney, Michael Molfetta, reached late Friday, confirmed the details of Kay's statements, given in separate meetings with DEA agents in Dallas and Los Angeles in late September.

Once again …. what a shame that they tried to play it up for days …. "kid never touched a drug, ever …."
STOP doing that.
His teammates and his team made things worse, by doing that, imo.

Crazy how that final push takes a toll on teams every year
Teams with nothing to play for can totally F up peoples parade plans
Its fun to watch.
Todays athletes seem to totally get up to be spoilers. Can't always get them up to be champions, but man, they love being pee in someone's morning cheerios.

I don't think anyone loves BEING pee.
