Kudos to MLB for pulling the All Star Game from Georgia over the state's voter suppression laws. The draft will be relocated as well.

What we need is one set of rules for every state.

1) Voter ID required for every type of vote(In person or Absentee) (Picture IDs will be free)

2) Have the election last 3 days so everyone can get a chance to vote.

3) All paper ballots. No machines that could be connected to the internet. A committee of equal number of Rs and Ds will count the votes. It will take probably 7 days to count them all. The Networks will just have to wait.

I know.... you didn’t start it...

But As someone who refuses, because of the “cesspool” nature and “ childish” nature of posters in the political threads that are set up for these types of discussions, just stop.

I can and would like to respond to the claim you just made, about NewYork and their sportsmanship and racial hypocrisy ... but I won’t, not.. here.

I thought the White Sox's pitching staff was supposed to be the envy of the American League. That's what I've been hearing down here. They've cost us three games so far this year!

I don't know if it's really all that embarrassing. The Twins have allowed more embarrassing runs a few times this season. Ahmed obviously thought the run was gonna score easily. Can't really blame him. The injured baserunner didn't even look like he was a player.

Cubs took a 7-0 lead in the first inning. After 4 they're behind 14-7. I don't think I've ever seen a game swing that much that fast.

On Saturday, A's played the Red Sox in Oakland and the game went extra innings. I caught the bottom of the 10th inning. Unbelievable the level or lack thereof of fundamentals by today's professional baseball players. All they want to do is work on launch angles as hitters and hit the ball out of the park.

Everyone knows MLB's extra innings rules these days. Murphy begins the inning at 2nd. Brown is intentionally walked and Lowrie gets a single and bases are loaded with no outs. Boston brings in an extra infielder and the infield is brought in to stop the winning run at home on a grounder to the infielders.

Kemp, who would later win the game in the bottom of the 12th with a sac fly when the A's score 3 to overcome the two runs the Sox scored in the top of the 12th, squares around and bunts the ball up in the air. Easy first out.....remember, in the 12th, he hit a sac fly to score the winning run. He tries to lay down a sac bunt with the infielders on the infield grass in the bottom of the 10th. Then Andrus hits a hard liner to Martinez in left and Martinez throws out Murphy at home, a close play but Murphy would have easily been safe with a head first slide on the far foul side of home plate and used his left hand to touch the plate. He slide in conventionally, right at the plate which wasn't blocked.
And Murphy, had he unhitched the plow on his dash for home, would have beaten the throw even with his lousy slide.

Do they not teach basic fundamentals in baseball anymore. And doesn't anyone know the pivot for a sac bunt instead of squaring around? I learned that my freshman year in college on the JV team from a really good baseball coach and it is so much better and easier than squaring for the sac bunt.
