Me, too. I'm glad my guys won, but it shouldn't be an annual thing. Like the outdoor hockey games every season, it just becomes a money grab.

A classic 1-1 pitchers' duel turns into a "5-3" Dodgers win over the Padres in 16 innings last night. I'll be so happy when we go back to real extra innings next season.

This should be bigger news. It flew under the radar until now.

Even on a hitless night at Fenway Park, Rays shortstop Wander Franco managed to make history.

By drawing a walk in the seventh inning of the Rays’ 12-7 win over the Red Sox on Tuesday night, Franco extended his on-base streak to 37 games. The 20-year-old switch-hitter now owns the longest on-base streak in American League history by a player 20 years old or younger, breaking a tie with Mickey Mantle.

Look for Nelson Cruz to win the Roberto Clemente Award this season. Looking back at the list of past winners, apparently it goes to the oldest nominee.

We actually won the Stinky trade. All we gave up was Palacios who is back in our system now.

Delmon Young was the worst trade in the brief tenure of Bill Smith. Matt Garza and Jason Bartlett for that fat load and Brendan Harris.

Stanton standing and watching balls go off the Green Monster....golden. Looked like a clown. The first one especially, he admired it....and only got to 1st base. Should have been standing up at 2nd. Funny!
