Always a safe bet in Oakland. Insanely bad stadium situation/environment now too. It seems it's either 1) a sign of how far JDR's star has fallen at this point. 2) maybe they're moving to SanAntonio after all soon. or 3) both

I still wonder if Jeff Fisher was told of an LA plan for the Rams when he was hired. With his USC ties you'd think he'd love to be in the area and be the "LA" coach. And he's already been the transition guy for a franchise once with the Oilers/Titans. Would seem to make a lot of sense. Personally I think he's kind of an Andy Dalton of coaches. He'll get you to 8-8 (look at his career record) but not much more. Hell, their SB run took a still very controversial Music City Miracle play to happen to even get past the first round. (crazy to think that Buffalo hasn't been to the playoffs since, btw) Plus, he (and his disciple Schwartz) have very undisciplined teams as far as lockerrooms, etc.

jack in Oakland. I hope he gets them turned around.

Typical NFL. So Far two "new" Head Coaches have already been HCs elsewhere in the NFL and were fired for being abject failures. Lotsa luck fellas!

SI MOck draft has MN taking

ANDRUS PEAT, OT
Junior, Stanford

Matt Kalil's slump was one of the more troublesome storylines for Minnesota in 2014. Rookie QB Teddy Bridgewater was all the Vikings hoped he would be, but they must do a better job protecting him. The high-upside Peat would give them more stability, with either Kalil or Phil Loadholt possibly a candidate to move to guard.

Phil Loadholt a guard.

That's interesting because we don't hear of offensive lineman coming out early

The Chicago Bears will hire former Denver Broncos coach John Fox as their next head coach, according to Mike Klis of the Denver Post.

Klis says Fox to Chicago is a "done deal," while Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reports the deal is for four years. Jason Cole of Bleacher Report first reported on Thursday that Fox was set to join the Bears.

The Bears also interviewed Arizona Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles, Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase and Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Teryl Austin for the job before deciding on Fox.

That's awesome. I'd take ANY of those other guys before Fox.

Bears will stay mediocre for a while.

I don't understand why so many people here are so down on John Fox.

He hasn't won a Superbowl, but he's coached two different teams there.

Damn near won one of them too.

He's not a bad coach. He's an NFL retread hire that I actually don't think is bad. It's not like he got fired this year for sucking nuts. Team won the AFC West after going to the SB last year.

Again, I'm now hoping for:

1. Pats
2. Colts
3. Natural disaster in Seattle

You guys are being prematurely confident.
That Seattle/Pack game is NOT YET final.
Know your "new NFL rules", people ...... duh.
That final OT TD catch? Still not in the bag. There are "THINGS" that have to be done before its ruled a catch. Duh!
Until the ball gets
a) retrieved from crowd
b) hauled by armed carrier across three bridges
c) placed inside a glass case at team headquarters
Its still not a catch.
Duh!
Know your rules, people.

Yes. What a terrible franchise, really.

Cheaters win 45-7.
There's a lesson in there somewhere. (that I'm ignoring)

Cheaters deflated some footballs. Allegedly

45 points worth of deflation.

So who do you like in the Big Game?

Me? Hawks. They will find a way to get it done if they're healthy enough. If their dbacks are "too banged up", they're toast.

NE on the other hand, plugs in nobodies and continues to plow FWD. Brady needs this one to not become another "Peyton Manning".

The Packer collapse was Epic. Something I've become accustom to seeing our teams do. It was so nice to see our hated rivals endure it as well.

First, not going for it on 4th and goal from inside the 1 early in the game. I knew that would come back to bite them and was rooting for it the hole game.
Second, the interception with about 5 mins to go. The guy lays down with no one around him. A little premature to play it that safe in my opinion.

I don't like the Seahawks at all, especially Sherman. Really hated them when Harvin went there. Will be rooting for the Pats.

I hate to say this, but I have to root for the Pats.

I hate repeat champions.

Superbowl will be unwatchable for me.

The best was our boy Brady's laughing response to the question, SMF.

I don't hate repeat champs, but I hate Pete Carroll more than anyone else who's left.

With ya there, Sweens. It won't happen, but I'd love to see the Pats stomp them.

@PhilMackey
After watching the film again this morning, it did appear several Colts players were indeed playing with deflated balls yesterday.
