It sure is nice to have a QB that will struggle from time to time but still pull it out at the end versus one that struggles every game and sucks at the end

That was a game I felt we would lose for most of it. Even when we were up 10-3, it just didn't feel right. We've seen the Vikes give those games away so many times in the past that I just knew we would. Nice to have a regime that seems intent to break those old traditions. Still we need to pick things up when we go against better teams.

Agreed. O sucked, for the most part, and it was in Chicago. I was expecting a gut wrenching loss.

Imagine being a Bears fan

You signed a jackass, who pouts and doesn't give a damn about the game, to a big extension. Teddy isn't perfect but at least he cares and will give you his all.

Much needed L on the board for the Pack. 1 game back.

So if nothing changes and both of us win before our meeting in a couple few weeks, and we win that game...we would be in first place.

Packers just got exposed. Albeit by the best defense in football. But exposed nonetheless.

Yep - the Broncos defense stopped the Packers. But the game also exposed how vulnerable the Packers defense was to those slants and play action. I expect this will be the game film coaches study when they're about to meet up with the Packers this season, and I hope it means multiple losses for our neighbors to the east.

@Andrew_Krammer
So, Bridgewater's game in 23-20 loss at Denver looks better each week. Only QB to throw 200+ without a pick vs. Broncos so far this season.

Speaking of ESPN stupidity
Today, packers are awful.
Complete flip in three hours.
Do they ever listen to themselves?

They maybe had a lot of money riding on the Packers in FanDuel or DraftKings.....

Quick hook

(some in TN probably believe not quick enough)

The Tennessee Titans have fired head coach Ken Whisenhunt and named assistant coach Mike Mularkey interim coach, the team announced Tuesday.

In two years as the Titans’ coach, Whisenhunt led the team to a 3–20 record. This season, Tennessee has only one win through seven games and has not won since the season opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

“After thoughtful consideration, the decision has been made to relieve Ken Whisenhunt of his head coaching duties,” Titans controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk said in a statement. “We have expected more progress on the field, and I felt it was time to move in a different direction. I would like to thank Ken for his efforts with our team, as he worked very hard to try to move us forward.”

Fred McNeill has died. Matt Blair and McNeill as outside LBers ... that was something.

NFL football players die way too young

While NFL owners are swimming in money and living well into their 80's and screwing their first families out of millions and billions......see Tom Benson, 88, owner of the Saints, wrote his daughter and her children out of his will.

But Tom is a devout Catholic so its ok. He's good with God.

If he was a devout Catholic he wouldn't be on a second family. He would never have left the first. Divorce is a big no no in the church.

Isn't that what Robin Williams' widow just announced that he had too? Or am I getting two recent news stories confused?

Early stage Parkinsons disease...

And yes it was Lewy Body Dementia too.

An examination of his brain tissue revealed the presence of "diffuse Lewy body dementia".[138] Williams' doctors believe that Lewy body dementia "was the critical factor" that led to his suicide.[

We should be able to get by with Cole this game. He is at least a good run stopper against Gurley.
