Probably gets reigned in some this week, since Zimmer is the current king of clam up in opponents' territory, when in a tight game or with a lead.

Best QB we've had, IMO.
Can put the ball where it's needed, when it's needed, if given time.
That position is no longer a ?

How crazy is that?

First time I've felt that way since Culpepper's 2004 season (when he should've won MVP).

Culpepper....faced the same physical limitations as Mr. Trump.

Like I said, the thought anyone is still questioning what we have there ... blows my mind.
Sunday, for sure, it was like the last thing from my mind .. "how our QB would find a way to F this up"
it was weirdddddddddd, man.

Zimmer: "We play to win"

Bullshit. You clammed up in OT

Like you clam up in dang near every close game.

Play it safe on 3rd down, kick a fg and put it on the defense.

That's NOT playing to win.

Ranted about it last week
You can say you want to be the best all you want, but until you start
insisting we get 7
instead of SETTLING for 3, we will never reach shit.
The great coaches set themselves apart by the size of their testicles.

You trust your guys? Then put it on them. You put it on a kid FG kicker. Bad choice.

SHOULD be "pretty easy" to stick Buffalo this week.

Of course looking ahead is dangerous.

The Rams after that on TH night.

That's a big game, and a team that DOES play to win.

No kicker? No big deal. Left the offense in high gear all day Sunday.

Seriously, sometimes I WISH our kicker would get hurt in-game
AND our punter

Take the sharp objects away from these guys

Look at what happened when we were forced to take the shackles off. We scored 22 points in the 4th quarter. And we did it in two minutes and twenty-three seconds of actual game play(!).

No David. The main Vikes thread set us straight on that yesterday. Zim's thinking was flawless and every other coach in the NFL would have played it the exact same way.

The #Vikings signed K Dan Bailey to a 1-year deal worth $2 million, I’m told. He turned down several offers that were for double that much on multi-year deals. He wanted the right fit and believes he found it.

Good steps forward for this org.

Zimmer to Bailey, something like this: "I'm gonna need you 3-4 times per game. We win here with kicking and defense."

The Vikings do need to open up the offense in the first half of games.

Name is familiar, but just like a year before my time. I definitely saw him play. Just didn't register in that young brain of mine.

Loved that dude
As was said ... CLASSIC overachiever
He was Thielen before Thielen
I'm sure every KNow-it-all expert was saying back then that some dude from MN/ND stood no chance of making it.
He made it, and then some.
At least back in those days there wasn't internet, so we all had to put up with that bullshit pre-judging a guy just because of where he was from.

Love it when a kid can play while everyone else says no way.

If you ever get a chance to see these overachievers when they play in HS, they stand out. They are already men surrounded by kids.

I got to see Kurt Knoff in high school. The athleticism of a kid who becomes a professional athlete stands out. Our HS was in the same conference as EGF. I remember his playing in our gym. He attempts to steal the ball in the backcourt.....misses and goes sliding. Gets up and catches the dribbler at mid court and steals the ball from behind.

When he was a sophomore, watched him go up for a 12 baseline jumper.....defender goes up to block, Kurt shifts the ball from his right hand to left hand and swishes.

I heard the Bills are +1500. Almost unheard of in the NFL. Anything can happen in the NFL. A good value bet would be $100 on the Bills to win today. I would make that bet just for fun if I was in Vegas

Vikes taking the game for granted today, came out asleep. I hope they can wake up soon and start another great comeback.
