I go back and forth on this draft. I'm not enamored with any of the QB's really. Bridgewater I share SMF's concerns; just something "off" to me, and the small hands are a concern. Bortles is just such an unknown, though I could get on board with him because he fits Norv's scheme. I LOVE the Norv move, btw. Have been clamoring for him as our OC for years. Manziel I've heard several analysts say it and I agree. I used to think he'd be a bum in the NFL; then last year, especially the Alabama game, made me a believer. I now think he'll be really really good most likely BUT...I think the way he plays he will get hurt, and often. Call it an RGIII syndrome or whatever. I just don't think he will be willing to change his game to avoid hits, etc. He may be great initially but I really believe he will get hit and hurt quite a bit. I want a LB on this team; we've lacked one forEVER. And that would tie the rest of this defense together, especially when you shift Greenway to a #2 spot. I could get on board with sticking with the pick and getting Mosley (a LB with coverage skills? sign me up) and a QB with a tradeup late in round 1 or early 2. And while I don't think there's any way he makes it to us and I like our WR's, I could get on board with Watkins too, simply because I think he'll be that good. Watkins/Patterson/Jennings would scare the living daylights out of defenses with Adrian running and Rudolph at TE. I guess where I'm at: I want a LB first (Mosley) and think the QB's are close enough that I'd be okay taking one in the late 1st or early 2nd (Carr/Garopolo/Savage). I'd take Manziel or Bortles and can get on board with it. I'd be on board with Watkins if for any reason he slipped. I'd like to get a Guard by the end of the 3rd rd. CB I'd wait on.
