I broke my index finger playing baseball when I was about 13. It hasn't been the same since.

Did Dr. John Steubs recommend amputation?

Maybe the most self deprecating comment I have ever read.

He's so good he'll swing and field 1-handed.

At the least he can run and slide FEET FIRST.

It is his thumb. That'd be a fun instructional league to watch. Thorpe/Gordon/Jones/Stewart. Probably 4 of our top 10 prospects next year.

I'm just praying they don't amputate anything.

With a 2-1 lead in the 9th, Jake Reed gives up 2 singles. Runners 1st and 3rd, no out. Gets a strikeout and a 6-4-3 DP to end it!

Solid year for Walker. Let's see what he can do in New Britain next year.

No guarantee that any Twins will be in NewBritain next year, nor maybe any baseball at all - as RockCats absentee owner and his henchmen continue to say strange/conflicting things. The RockCats/Twins contract extension is up for renewal this fall; I wouldn't blame them for not wanting to do business with this guy.
