Props to Bradberry. He admitted he did it and didn't make excuses.

Hearing Rodgers to the Jets is done. History about to repeat itself between New York and Green Bay. Time is indeed a flat circle

The Philadelphia Eagles and quarterback Jalen Hurts have reached an agreement on a five-year, $255 million extension, including $179.304 million guaranteed, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday.

Hurts' deal is the biggest contract in terms of average annual value in NFL history. Deshaun Watson's $230 million contract signed last year with the Cleveland Browns, which is fully guaranteed, still is biggest in terms of guaranteed money.

Hurts' extension includes a no-trade clause -- a first in Eagles history, a source told Schefter.

Why?

Damaged goods.

Little evidence that he will be any good

Give them a low draft pick, sure...but otherwise...Pass

Cousins is better.

and that is saying a lot

I would rather get picks from SF, not excited about Lance.

I'm not saying give up a 1st rounder.

In a perfect world, we get some compensation from Cook and Z trades and use that to get Lance.

Lance is worth a flyer but I wouldn't give up much. If 49ers liked what they say they would keep him.

FWIW, not much, it's refreshing to see a franchise be proactive in moving on from pieces of the puzzle they've deemed as not good enough to get them to their goal. Would like to see more of that out of the Vikings.

SF would give Minnesota picks for Cousins, no Lance involved, they can keep him.

SF isn't happy with Lance, Purdy might be out for the year, and they wouldn't be interested in a QB like Kirk that always seems to be healthy ?

Not for that kind of money.

If you think the 49ers are such good judges of QB talent and they want Kirk, why wouldn’t you want to keep him then?

Because I don't think the Vikings can put enough talent around Kirk to win a Super Bowl (not in the next 2 years), while the 49ers can.

And I think SF has a stronger need for Kirk because they are closer, while it would make more sense for the Vikings to do a rebuild.

I would sorta be interested to see if the 49ers could win a Super Bowl with Kirk. I think they would come up short, but it would be a good place to show whether or not he has it in him if all the pieces were in place around him.

Having all the pieces in place around him would NOT show he has it in him. Besides, he doesn't have 'It'. Never did, never will. I'm going off 11 years of mediocrity.

In your scenario, literally every position would have to be stacked. Lose a RG? "Well, you can't ask a QB to overcome that."

And that's assuming he doesn't wilt in prime time holding his hands over his helmet holes with his upside down shit-eating grin/grimace.

That sucks for him and the lions. Our trade during the draft looks better.

Only if we would have taken HIM with that pick. I am guessing we wouldn't have.

Maybe theyll be all right:

Odds for North Div winner:
Lions -110
Vikings +250
Bears +300
Paackers +350

I like the Vikings to win the division again, I could see Detroit coming up short.

He's talking the talk. But will he walk the walk when all is said and done?

Joe Burrow isn't saying much about his ongoing contract negotiations with the Cincinnati Bengals.

However, the quarterback knows exactly what he's looking for in his next deal, which could make him the highest-paid player in the league.

Burrow said he's keeping teammates who could also receive contract extensions in consideration.

"Whenever you have guys on the team that need to be paid, that's always on your mind," he said. "You want that to be a focal point. We're working to make that happen."

I'm definitely going to place a bet on the Vikings winning the Division again.
