Vikings have met with Deebo Samuel, WR, South Carolina, at the Senior Bowl workouts

Stud player, but I doubt we'll be able to get him with the other priorities to be addressed. Need another playmaker receiving option for Cousins

This is beyond stupid. What happens next?

A Kansas City lawyer brings a lawsuit against the NFL for the bad "Roughing The Passer" call on Brady?

Yeah, i hear ya, but it's crazy how bad it was. I thought the call on the Vikings in the Bears game was terrible, this trumps that by a bunch

I dunno ... did you understand that Hotshots refers to the elite firefighter team?

No, I didn't. That's cool. I wasn't in AZ but I did notice a lot of gratitude for fire fighters last August when I drove from SD to Seattle.

Hotshot=catagory one, initial attack firefighter

I know this because I worked for the Forest Service stationed in Williams,AZ way back in 1982. I was a catagory two firefighter but a Hotshot crew suffered injuries and two of us were promoted. Like a rookie off the bench. We were flown in a 12 man aircraft out of Flagstaff (right over the Grand Canyon) to Redding Ca. We got a quick tour of a Smoke Jumpers locker room and then were taken to the front lines near the Oregon border.

My parents now live in Prescott, AZ. The Hotshots have always been revered, but even moreso with the tragedy in Yarnell a few years back. There is now a shrine there and a deep appreciation for what those guys risk.

Kudos to you, Bill. No matter where one falls on the political spectrum, anyone who doesn't appreciate the risks taken by first responders live in denial, ignorance, and eventually, hopefully, shame.

Appreciate it guys.

As a young man it was an extremely exciting time for me. However, 17 hour days, sleeping on the ground, breathing in all that smoke, and eating bad food the shine quickly wore off. TBH, from my pov we made little difference. These inferno's have a mind of their own and it is mother nature (rain) that can only end them each season.

Extremely dangerous work. During my stint I witnessed 2 fellow fireman narrowly escape serious injury if not death.

I was well rewarded by a young lady I met while on R&R in Eureka.

Fun Fact: In 789 A.D. the Vikings marauded what was the largest collection of parrots in the world. If that brood had been allowed to mature, today's total parrot population would be 47 times larger thereby allowing parrot-killers to expend just 2.1% of their current effort to locate a target parrot for death.

What about parakeets?

Ah yeah. Huge brood, same deal. Plus the Vikings defanged those. Shame, because if they hadn't those MFer parakeets would lay waste to some sap trying to kill them.

Things either happen or they don't. They may take on an air of significance, or seem ironic, just or not - or they pass as a mundane thing never to be thought of again.

Random shit.

No one above us or beyond our senses is keeping score.

Very un-Minnesotan to not extend Spielman and Zimmer's contracts thus far. Above average usually gets it done.

Now there's a statement that sucks the wind out of the God vs No God argument.
