I don't have the link to the article, but apparently Holton Hill was at the place where Roc was busted.

https://thevikingage.com/2019/03/08/rumor-another-minnesota-vikings-player-thomas-incident/

The incident was almost 2 months ago and Hill wasn't charged or arrested.

Most likely he's "guilty" of either bad judgement, or being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

wow...this is a real bullet, dodged...i hope it doesn't get any worse that that...these guys have maybe one shot at making real money and they risk phucking it all up....

Hill’s full name is not stated in the complaint, but his initials (H.J.H.) and his birthdate are included (March 28, 1997).

#Vikings have until Wednesday to decide on tenders for restricted free agents Anthony Harris and Rashod Hill. Tenders this year are $4.407 million (first round), $3.095 million (second round), $2.025 million (original round but none since Harris and Hill were both undrafted).

He's had trouble staying on the field the last 2 years, but is a very solid player when healthy. Might've been worth the flyer:

Steelers trade RT Marcus Gilbert to Arizona for late 6th-round pick.

Cut him if doesn't take less.

Weatherly was better last year.

And we have Bowers, Arune and I think we got Odenigbo back.

We don't know if Weatherly can stay healthy, and Griff was pretty awesome when his mind was right.

Weatherly may have benefited from all the attention given to Hunter and Richardson. You let Richardson go, teams focus on Hunter, Weatherly gets hurt, and there is little pass rush, defense becomes a sieve.

Keep Griff for depth, and hope he returns to form.

I instantly felt the exact same way I felt when I heard Favre was looking to come to MN. YUCK! Whatever - it will never happen. Hmm... Oh man that would be kind of sweet. OK I'M ALL FOR IT!!!

That happens in about ten seconds of time.

Hunter is a freak athlete and has demonstrated his position flexibility. He did it at LSU and he's done it as a Viking. He made his bones at LSU on special teams. I love his come up.

Hunter is a rare breed. He's not a designated pass rusher, he plays the run as well as he plays the pass. I say he's the best defensive player on our team.

Make no mistake, opposing teams know who Hunter is.

"We don't know if Weatherly can stay healthy..."

What a stupid comment designed to bolster a viewpoint. Weatherly hasn't been injured here. Stat wise, neither has Griff but he has had problems with his toe/foot which left him less than 100%.

The fact of the matter is we don't have much cap room and some tough choices will have to be made. Griffen is on the wrong side of his prime, could get paid a lot, doesn't have a lot of dead cap, and plays at a position where we had a youngster step in and do pretty well.

People get attached to players. If anything, we hold on to some too long (Allen, Greenway), and pay them for past performance (Peterson).

This offseason there will be business-based personnel decisions, not sentimental ones.

Looks like Griffen, Rudolph, Remmers, and Sendejo net about 28 mill in cap savings. I can see that happening, esp if Griff and Rudolph won't restructure. I don't know the ins and outs of trying some sort of sign and trade, or even if that exists in the NFL like it does with the NBA.

Waynes. Not sure what to make of him in terms of ability, cost of his upcoming contract, ability of Hughes and Hill to cover the loss, etc.

Waynes probably depends on if Hill has been keeping his nose clean. (Roc Thomas incident)

Since we are name dropping we also have do-everything Jalyn Holmes.

It's almost that time of the year when fans start harping "playoffs or bust" due to the "potential" of all of our players. Even those who haven't played a down.

Hey guys, looking for a little advice.

How do you guys that don't live in Minnesota watch your Vikings games?

I've been paying for the Sunday ticket for a long time now. I don't subscribe to full direct TV, I just pay for the Sunday Ticket which is about $250 a year.

Thing is my dish reception gets worse every year (due to neighbors growing trees) and when it rains or is really overcast, I easily lose reception.

I want to dump the ticket, but I don't want to miss the non- network televised Viking games.

Ideas?

Please post or PM me. thanks

I dropped Sunday Ticket last season. I missed watching the games, but I listened to the games on the kfan stream or on Sirius. I'd love to find a way to watch the games live, but listening to them is okay for me.

part of me wants the vikings to draft a dt in the 2nd/3rd round and then let all of our young d-linemen fight it out for playing time - to see what we've got...jaleel johnson and jalyn holmes - each a 4th round pick....

our coaches seem to have done a very good job with de's hunter and weatherly - but it helps when you're starting with a player that has 4.60/40 speed....aruna ran a 4.60/40 and seems healthy after surgery on his knee....

Raiders get AB for a 3rd and 5th. They rec'd a 1st for Cooper.

They have a bunch of high picks and could be looking at OL.

I'm hoping for a modern day TE in the 2nd, but a case can easily be made for DT.
- Good year for DTs.
- Richardson is a FA, and even if we sign him I'm not sure he is all that. And Joseph had, IMO, a bad year. Those guys were getting trounced in the run game. While Joseph could have been battling injuries, he also could have been battling father time and the rigors of being a DT.
- Joseph and Holmes haven't showed anything.
