Even I'm disappointed with Barr and see no reason to go forward with him. He seems like a guy that doesn't love the game that much or carry much pride playing for us. I can't remember the last impact play he had.

It is what it is...I thought he would be a super star...but that never materialized.

Howie stole that from Joel Buchsbaum, the original draft guru. He had a ton of them in his old books: "All-pro from the neck down." "It's a $20 cab ride to get around him.", etc.

We’re no longer the only team to have a 99 yard run against them!

My father told me he read that Mike Zimmer has coached the Vikings during 49 nationally televised games during his tenure either during the regular or post season. His record is 13-36 in those 49 games. Just think of how pathetic that is. Why does the NFL select the Vikings to play an average of ten games per season to watch a franchise that wins one game in four?

FALSE. Par for the course on this board. Seriously have some integrity.

Mike Zimmer overall record is ... 45-30-1. Your 13-36 record means the Vikings have played 3 plus seasons worth of nationally televised games. Add the two playoff losses and finding it hard to find the 36 losses on national TV. I was at the Buffalo game this year ... it was not nationally televised.

But hey this is the place to come for informative insight into the goings on with the team.

Keep taking your petty little shots. 4 games left before they determine the fate of Mike Zimmer. Good to know you are the type that want him gone.

Maybe before you get too excited by "facts" from your dad, you could take a second to do some research.

I don't even need to try to figure out how many of our games were nationally televised, because a 2 second Google search tells me Zim has 30 regular season losses and 2 postseason losses.

So according to your dad, all of Zim's losses have been on national TV - and he picked up 4 more national tv losses that no one else in the world is aware of...

I see where you get your credibility from.

Speaking of fun stats...

Consider this...

Kirk Cousins HAS NEVER WON a game played on a Monday!

Cousins has lost all SIX of his appearances on Monday Night Football tied for record with Archie Manning for losing his first six MNF starts, One more and he will hold the record all on his own...

As well the pain continues against teams that went on to have a winning season winning 9 or more games Kirk Cousins has only had TWO wins in his entire career...

Winds of change must start Monday night for Kirk!

Kirk Cousins HAS NEVER WON a game played on a weekday!

Cousins has lost all five of his appearances on Monday Night Football as well as four Thursday games. He’s thrown 13 touchdowns and nine interceptions in those appearances.

Wow! Well I guess he fits right in on our team then.

Sorry I was incorrect in Quoted post above on Kirk's stats, He actually won a Thursday game last season against the Giants as well as lost a Monday night game against the Eagles I missed so I corrected my initial post to only talk about Monday night games...

If the Vikings don't make the playoffs, I don't see how you keep Zimmer, what's his message going to be going into the off season? Who's he going to blame? Speilman has to be feeling the heat too. Zimmer gets out coached in big games, BB ran circles around him.

I think they both get to keep their jobs but if the team has "tuned" him out it will all come crashing down quickly next season and Zimmer will not survive the season.

Next year the Vikings will turn it around or look like the window has closed, I don't see any middle ground.

Watching the Titans blitz Cody Kessler relentlessly last night was like football porn for me. The Titans didn't let up with the pressure even when ahead 30-2 in the 3rd quarter or 30-9 in the fourth quarter. They were a 6-6 (now 7-6) team on the edge of the playoffs and they were coached like it and played like it. Kessler couldn't handle the pressure so Tennessee took advantage. Plain and simple. Take note Zimmer and co.

No doubt

We should have been rushing Barr more often against Brady vs having him float around covering no one. makes little to no sense.

But, according to Dandy Don Meredith, it was 99.5 yard run.

Barr has had 1 sack since Thanksgiving of 2016. I doubt they'd adjust that much as far as scheme and responsibilities, nor is it a given it would be effective.

This is how I view Zimmer on the sidelines (he's Milhouse). Bart and Nelson are presumably the coordinators (although I'm not sure if they want a more aggressive gameplan on offense and/or defense or not.

Perfectly level flying is the supreme challenge of the scale-model pilot.

i just watched that run by henry and it amazes me how bad nfl players are at tackling...it seems like defenders don't want to hit the ground these days...they don't wrap up the legs, or waist and legs - three players had easy tackles on that play, but they all went high and were just pushed away...amazing....

#Vikings RB Dalvin Cook had games of 22 and 27 carries in two of his first three outings last year as a rookie before he got hurt. This season, Cook has just one game of more than 10 carries, which was 16 in the opener against San Francisco.
