I just don't get it either - regarding G choices. I think Ezra was 3rd string LG during training camp but with injuries has held up very well (and been an upgrade) at RG. Has he been better on the opposite side of the line? Udoh has played RG during the Senior Bowl. Was he looked at as an option went Elf and Samia went down?

I don't expect the staff to make any changes unless Dozier goes down

What's Tonya Harding's availability?

Someone misjudged you Todd. You're not sexist at all. Women can be violent too.

No, he's sexist. The proof is in black and white. He also calls women chicks....in 2020.

A sexist guy on a football talk website. The horror.

Watching Stefanski's Browns dominate Tennessee on the road brings me back to the Childress/Tomlin situation. Vikings let a young coach go to another team while hanging on to an old, Set-In-His-Ways coach.

Stefanski runs a play at the goal line using an eligible O-Lineman for a TD. Zimmer would never run anything like that.

I guess since we've got the best red zone offense in the league, "Zimmer", calling the plays in the coach's box up in the stands, doesn't feel the need to resort to trickery.

True, but that was not the point of the original post. How convenient of you to cut out the rest so you could start your snarky shit again.

It seemed appropriate to point out your stupid shit again. But in more comedic than snarky way.

No one pisses off posters in here more than you, Mr. Dumbass. You don't even come on these forums to discuss Vikings; you come on here to see what drive by you can do. You think you're a genius and funny, but you're not. It's just so sad you always have to try and bring people down to prop up yourself. Bet you're proud of yourself.

People talk about young offensive minds. Brian Daboll is one of them, he is a fantastic playcaller and gameplanner. Can he be a good coach who knows, but great playcaller, that's coached all over the AFC east, Alabama, KC and Cleveland.

Then I hear people say Robert Saleh is a good young coaching prospect. Sure his defenses are good when he has all pros all over the field and his front 4 can get to the QB. He can't make adjustments nor do his defenses scheme well against good coordinators except for Sean McVay for some reason. Hopefully the rumors are true and the Lions go with Saleh.

You're seeing it tonight, the Bills punted for the first time in the 4th quarter.

Good point about Saleh. Without all these all pro's this year his defense is pedestrian.

I don't expect the staff to make any changes unless Dozier goes down

I was sure Udoh would get more playing time this season after looking like he could hold his own after the Bears game late last season.

But as history has taught us, the Vikings coaching staff will stay with an ineffective player all season on the Oline, until an injury derails them.

Udoh might be one of the best lineman on the team, but we'll never know unless injuries force their hand.

What's interesting to me... is in that bears game I thought Udoh held his own and Samia looked exactly like he did this year... some plays decent but equal amount of plays where he totally whiffed.

And yet, Samia gets the opportunity... no Udoh.

They have decided Udoh is a tackle and that is that.

I've been impressed by Udoh in his limited appearances at Tackle. Not sure I've seen him play at Guard. He looks like he could be a solid backup Tackle and maybe progress into something more down the line. Maybe he's just terrible at Guard - although he'd have to be truly awful to sit behind Samia. Unfortunately, our coaches have zero credibility when it comes to player evaluation of offensive linemen, so their decisions look pretty questionable.

My thoughts on Sunday.

They looked sloppy and almost lost to a bad team.

They have been good at making halftime adjustments.

The Oline sucks donkey nuts

Our D did OK considering we are without best players like Barr, Pierce, Hunger and in this game Kendricks.

That being said. Damn man. letting Jax and QB MIKE GLENNON come back down by 8 without much time left?

and How many opportunities do we give Dan Bailey to miss before we move on.

Some people are excited about our chances to make the playoffs.

I, for one, am not excited about this. This team is not playoff worthy. It will get torched by a good team not named the Saints.

For some reason we have their number in the Playoffs.

But any other good NFC team is going to put us down quickly.

I don't know about that. We've beaten the Pack at Lambeau and really dominated Seattle for all but 5 minutes in their house.

This Bucs game will be a good guage, but it really isn't a good matchup. Especially coming off the bye I worry the secondary won't hold up vs Evans, Godwin, Brown and Gronk. Their secondary is good, Carlton Davis can't cover Tyreek Hill 1 on 1 but he's a very good corner. They have a stout DLine along with 2 rangy LBers in David and White. It will take something special to win this week, but this team is battle tested.

And they did.

Rodgers still threw for 291 yards and 3 TDs - but the conditions caused them to leave a ton of plays on the turf.

We only passed 14 times. Thankfully GB couldn't stop the run (Cook: 30/163/3)

I don't know if it was mentioned, and I didn't know until now because I recorded the game and just watched it, but the Niners did lose to the Bills. We now sit at a 40% chance to make the playoffs and if we win Sunday it goes up to 71%.

The Bucs have lost three of their last four games, but they have been to playoff teams. They beat the NY Giants by just two points and the Bears by one. They had to rally to beat the LA Chargers. I know that they have Tom Brady, but they are not a dominant team. Of course, we are not either. We are winning or losing close games. I predict that next Sunday's game will be another nail biter.

I see a QB looking to get right (and we just made Mike Glennon look good).
I see a dynamic recieving corps (Evans Godwin Gronk, Brown) against our young and banged up secondary.
I see our first half offense putting us in too big a hole to recover from like we have vs lesser teams.
Unless the Bucs can lay an egg like they did vs the Saints on that fateful Monday night...I see us getting toasted.

I'm sure this is a surprise to most of us.

The #Vikings have waived CB Holton Hill, per Goessling.
