Hard to fault Cousins today
Unless he was supposed to get the ball out earlier and was missing reads, seems it was on oline
They did show how he missed a wide open Thielen on one play, but that happens
Still kind of mind boggling in a game you are down the whole second half, Thielen got one target

According to Five Thirty Eight the Vikings have a 64% chance of making the playoffs if they win their next two games.

If you think Tampa had a good dline
Wait until you see New Orleans

who lost to Philly?

Wow

Bad loss. Hurts gave Philly shot in arm
Their D is still elite

Yep,it’s why they play the games..

Being a fan to me, means always thinking you have a shot at winning.

Except of course when you unfanned when Farve was QB.

That 1 second pause by the clock operator should have been reviewed. It was blatant.

That "PI" call on the Vikings never would have happened, nor the FG at the end of the half.

Hate to think the fix was in, but it doesn't help when you see calls like that.

Is that up or date? We will be heavy underdogs to NO
If we go 2 and 1
We would need Ari to lose 2 of Philly, SF and LAR

So they get smacked down and you want to challenge one second. Nevermind a team can adjust after the fact and there would have been a different set of circumstances. You don't know what would have happened, unless you have the capability to see the future outcome about a scenario that didn't exist in the first place.

I'd toss that Guiliani-like frivolous challenge right out the window, WAY out.

Yeah, it sounds bogus to begin with. But if it's on twitter and Bruce brings it in, it must be fact

This team has no business in playoffs
Would have preferred 4 and 12 with best possible offensive or defensive lineman available
This offseason should be nothin but both
If Barr, Hunter and Pierce all back, if we get draft, FA right, could be real good next year
We also need 3rd WR. Someone that can burn folks deep with attention on other guys
Love seeing them use Irv
Hopefully they let Harris go a spend that money elsewhere.

I don't think it was frivolous. Yes, Zimmer turtled the team when they should have been in hurry up, and as usual, failed to make adjustments after the half.

But that clock pause was real. And it cost them 3 points. No one knows what would have happened as far as future outcomes go, but the fact is, TB went into the half with 3 more points in a game that was close.

Guiliani makes up shit. That wasn't made up. Even the announcers could see it.

That's all I'm saying.

Sure they do!

If they are within the top 7 then they have every business of being in the playoffs.

Baileys performance today was the worst by an NFL kicker since 1961

(Vikings Spin on Twitter)

Should I be like this, now?

Worse than Carlson vs GB?

Bailey missed an extra point wide left and his field-goal attempts of 36, 54 and 46 yards were wide right. He is the first player since John Aveni for Washington in 1961 to miss at least three field goals and an extra point without making a kick, according to Courtney Cronin of ESPN

I prefer being in the playoff hunt while being in most of our games.

That means our young guys can play and the future is bright.

We are a good OLine away from making some noise next year. A broken record, yes I know. If they could somehow turn Harris and his salary into Thuney, the offense could be scary good.

Technically those circumstances could also indicate a team on the decline.

Because being in the playoff hunt while being in most of your games doesn't indicate what direction your team is heading. It just tells you where they are right now. Every year there are lots of teams in the hunt and being in most of their games.

JJ, Gladney, Dantzler, Cleveland, Wonnum are playing well in their 1st year and look like they belong.

Take away Suh, Barrett, David, White and one of TB's CBs and plug back in our guys who are out and we wouldn't have needed Bailey at all.

The boys played better than I expected today. I didn't think we matched up well vs their receivers but Gladney and the secondary played hard coupled with some inaccurate throws by Brady.

Don't want to sound too simplistic but 7 pts were left on the board (cut Bailey some slack on the 54 yarder) and they gained a free 3 pts at the end of the half. Kicking and red zone efficiency was the difference.

Unfortunate because the Bucs came out flat off the bye.

Same here. If and when the Vikes do win the Lombardi I'm sure it will be a little more anti climactic then you'd expect.

Sure it would be great to get a generational talent at QB but it isn't always the #1 pick. Remember the last time we were in the running in 2011. Well Luck has been retired for a couple of seasons, RGIII still can't read a defense and Kalil is out of the league whilst being a liability his entire career.

I enjoy watching the Vikes too much to go through 3 or 4 seasons of what the Jets and the Jags are going through just to put it all together for that 1 season.

No slack for Bailey!

It's not like it was close from 54.

He has to be cut and the ST's coach has to be shown the door.
