Next week I want to see someone like Udoh get a chance. Not sure who else would deserve one that hasn't gotten it, but try some people out. Give Madison some more carries. Get the young backup QB some reps, wait what...?

Would also like to see Brees, if he's playing, blitzed into submission. Some payback for bounty gate. If we can't beat them in the playoffs, we can at least make them easier for someone else to beat.

Definitely should do some real evaluation these last two weeks. Zimmer will probably do everything he can to win and make himself look good to stay on for next season. Udoh should have been given a shot at some point this season.

I was watching the game and seeing the Bears drive down the field again and again and again and I just thought the Vikings are not good enough. They don't deserve to be in the playoffs. If they could have squeezed in they would have not advanced anyway. The Vikings have a 4% chance still to make the playoffs, but I don't care. They are just not that good.

Sorry. Tried to tell folks weeks ago this team is not good
Overpaid for a QB meanwhile the rest of the team crumbled before their eyes with no money to sure up other areas.
The only thing keeping our heads above water is maybe the best group of skill players in the league
We easily have the worst depth in the league and some of our starters are some of the worst starters at their positions
Close wins over Jax and Car didn’t do much for me

Since signing Cousins to be the final piece
1 wild card appearance
0 division title (and really not even close)
Yet no accountability for such bad roster construction.

This will be a good team next year.

And Cousins will have his most successful season of his career by a long shot.

Sorry, but the players weren't the problem today. Our coaches lost this game today. Not the first time. It seems they never scheme for the strengths and weaknesses of our opponents. We just do the same shit every time, and hope it works.

Great points. Not to mention I feel for Dalvin. Guy is gonna be wrecked by the end of next season with the current usage.

Love the optimism.

I do think we have a good core provided hunter is back at full strength and pierce is as advertised

Coaching though is suspect at best

Agreed

What happened to chucking it deep on 3rd and short?

This week it was Dalvin up the gut

The difference came down to the 2 4th down plays. On the first one the jet sweep motion to Thielen was there and the second one was blown up by Urban.

Tough one to lose but we were always up against it with all of the injuries.

A good core is worthless when you have big flaws. Coordinators (except ours) attack and expose those flaws.

The roster lacks balance.

Oh he's not for sure! Just wish we had the foresight to not let him leave.

He'd never trade in the Cleveland job for Minnesota.

We've got to keep hope alive. This upcoming year will be a no television year for me, which means no football on tv. I'm making that sacrifice because it feels like the news is making me frustrated and angry and I don't want to be that way. I'm choosing not to be that way. I will listen to the games on radio like I used to for many years and keep up here.

I see DT as a major position needing an upgrade. Our DT’s have been getting pushed all over the field all season. The DT’s are getting consistently blown off the ball and I saw it again today. They provide no pocket pressure during the passing game. Sure we have other holes, but this has been a big one all year. The DT’s set the tone for the entire defense and these guys have been treated like candy asses from opposing offenses.

I agree. On the bright side I saw this:

Justin Jefferson needs 292 yards over the next two games to break the NFL rookie receiving yards record. It’s a lot to ask, but not impossible.

Probably be pretty easy if he was used in the first 2 weeks.

Agreed. But here is the deal. We need about 3. One to pair with Pierce, but we need depth too which we don’t have
We are in such cap hell, they all need to come in through the draft
Not sure where we get them with all the olineman we need?
