Nate from Canis: I think the thing that impressed me most about the guy in this playoffs (really since the knee injury) is that he finally figured out how to dominate a game by going with the flow. There were no more jacked up shots on late clock 1-on-1s, no 3s, no panicked hero ball…it was all just pure domination in the flow of the game: crashing every board, rolling hard on every pick, making every pass, helping on every defensive play, driving right into Ayton for contact, running hard like helllllllllll…it’s almost like he was operating in the negative space of a game where no other player in the league can operate. His decision making was perfect. He’s still not the guy you really want to throw the ball to on the last possession of a tied game to make a shot but he sure as hell is the guy you want to start the play and even finish it if the shot is missed. I’ve never seen a guy make more correct plays since LeBron vs. Detroit. That was unreal.
