KJ Osborn was just so obscenely bad last year it’s tough for me to wrap my head around him playing any kind of roll on this team.

But hell I’m willing to learn if indeed he’s reborn.

He was the WORST return specialist I’ve ever seen on a Vikings team. He made Buster Rhymes look like the Human Joy stick.

supposedly, he put a lot of time this offseason working out in miami with jarvis landry, stefon diggs and justin jefferson...he's got good speed...he seems to be impressing the right people this summer....

Jake Browning threw a dime to Justin Jefferson for a big gain in a two-minute drill, then hit Irv Smith in the back corner of the end zone for a two-point conversion after a TD run. Now, all-time QB Jake Browning has 1:17 left to answer Jake Browning with another TD drive.

Good for Browning, one of our two smart QBs. When opportunity knocks you gotta answer. Take advantage of the absence of our two dummy QBs and make the most of those extra reps.

That's a good way to put it.

Its still only training camp hyperbole at this point but I will be in shock if he contributes at WR ... I guess you can never know.

Its impossible to predict development sometimes. Especially on a team that intentionally holds its rookies back until they get the right 'seasoning'.

Can he run a two-minute offense?

You say that now, but when Cousins is coughing up games they should win you'll be saying the same thing.

I have fought really hard through an anti-Cousins bias to try and focus on the things he does really well and tell myself that his great arm and surrounding talent can overcome his lack of nerve and rigid programming. You know, hope for the best.

However, if he ends up missing games this season ... (you can't see it but I'm shaking my fist in the air) he will rue the day I cut him some slack ...

Video breakdown of Browning from last night. I've been telling people I wouldn't be surprised if he's our #2 this season and it's looking like he's the favorite now.

I wonder if Browning had regained any of his previous arm strength.

Before injury he was looking like a 1st round pick. Post injury he’s looked unplayable with an arm that makes Chad Pennington look like Pat Mahomes.

Trump favors taking vaccine

See link above. Even Donald Trump is encouraging people to get vaccinated. You have to be a complete idiot not to get vaccinated.

I'm as confident as ever that this team has the talent to make the SB after a ridiculous 4 and a 1/2 decade absence...however it feels Vikingish to see them fall short bc of something stupid like the refusal of some to get vaccinated. If it comes back to bite us I'm not sure I could forgive it.

Kirk may be slow, but he's not stupid. His career earnings stood just above $140 million as of the end of last season, with another $31 million due this season. I can't see him risking that ending prematurely.

If we forfeit or lose any games because of COVID it's going to be very hard to forgive the offending player/s.

Speaking of amnesia, I'm so old I remember when the OCD posts were about Adam Thielen. How come those stopped?

I think AT spiked a certain OCD catch phrase in the end zone a few too many times for life support to be a viable option..

Does anyone know if Mond was vaccinated?

Strib article says Mond is vaccinated. And tested positive. So he doesn’t have to sit out as long apparently. Cousins had to sit out for being close contact with Mond, and apparently has to quarantine longer, meaning he is not vaccinated.

Also meaning Cousins is a complete moron.

Take the NFL and their Covid rules completely out of the equation.

Does any of this make sense from a health perspective? If there was no way a vaccinated person could get infected it would make perfect sense. But that is not the case.

For all we know, Browning might have just given it to Mattison on a hand off.

Yes it does make sense from a health perspective. Vaccinated people can still test positive. But it greatly reduces the chances of a severe case.

And no you can’t take the NFL and their COVID rules out of the equation anyway. If my employer wants me to do something, and if me not doing it greatly jeopardizes the success of my company, I do it, even if I don’t think it makes sense to me personally.

This isn’t hard. Cousins is stone cold moron. Just get a f*****g shot!

You could work in Daniel Snyder's HR Dept.

Well played.
