As I mentioned on @nflnetwork
, one logical landing spot for Sean Mannion is a return to the #Vikings, who kept only two QBs (Kirk Cousins and rookie Kellen Mond) on the 53 and have been looking for a veteran backup.

Defending APs fumble issue while attacking Herndon's fumble issue is just the latest unequivocal example.

I have no particular problem with Herndon. I'm just pointing out the truth about him. Jets fans were happy to see him go. Hopefully he can revert back to his rookie form.

In the past I have I very scientifically pointed out Peterson's fumbling wasn't nearly as bad as many on this board made it out to be. He's long gone and I don't care about him any more.

Tell me the Vikings players that I don't like now or haven't liked over the last ten years that I didn't give an even minded objective response about. I'm prepared to wait until Hell freezes over for you to come up with who those players are.

Um, I'll have to stretch way back for the incongruous 'me no-like' example ... Chris Herndon

Insufferable in both directions.

BS about Herndon. I just pointed out the negatives regarding him. I like him and hope for the very best. You won't be able to come up with one Vikings player out of the last 10 years that I didn't like and was unfair to. Not a chance.
You got me on Dillon Mitchell. Since he never did anything my appreciation of his talent has been shown to be misguided.

i trust Pro Football reference the most. They had Rudolph with one drop in the last three years. I believe that to be accurate. Herndon with four in 2020.

The Darrisaw and Irv Smith injuries have been like a kick in the nutz. I legit thought we had a shot at winning it all this season. I no longer think that.

"The Vikings made a trade with the New York Jets to acquire Chris Herndon yesterday, and today we have learned that they claimed tight end Ben Ellefson off of waivers from the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Ellefson, a native of Hawley, Minnesota, played his college football at North Dakota State University and went undrafted in 2020. He spent last season on the Jaguars’ practice squad but was elevated to the active roster for several games. On the active roster, he caught one pass for ten yards."

Not practicing today: Barr, Chisena, Mattison, Nwangwu, Metellus, Darrisaw, Herndon (not here yet, officially on the roster at 3 pm), Ellefson (not here either).

Westbrook is changing to No. 12 and Herndon will take No. 89.

Vikings are going to scrimmage during practice today. Usually, scrimmages feature field goals and other special teams situations. There is no long snapper on the roster currently, but PSQ TE Zach Davidson has long snapping ability. I believe Eric Kendricks does too.

I actually thought he did quite well in games 2 and three this preseason.

I think he comes back now that 3 players went IR.
