Rivers is done. like 3 errant passes in a row and fails to get them in FG range.

Indy is a good team. they do need a QB though.

Diggs came up big in the fourth quarter for the Bills with a big TD and other plays. He had six catches in the game for 128 yards. He does make plays at big moments and he may have been the difference in this game. I mean, it was a very tight game down to the wire and he was a big part of the victory.

It was close. To his credit he did pass for over 300 yards with 2 TD's and 0 Interceptions. That fourth down pass near the goal line in the first half was inches from being caught.

You are right to say that he had a lot of errant passes, too.

The Colts were the last team to qualify for the playoffs in the AFC. If I was their fan I would not have thought they were going to go deep into the playoffs. Nevertheless, they are a much better team than the Bears. I think we will see some good games on the AFC side of the playoffs.

Well I don't think Everson Griffen will ever be back. He tweeted (then deleted):

@vikings Kirk cousins is ass. Thank you.

Ask Zimmer if he wanted Kirk?????

He will tell you the truth??? Who wanted Kirk cousins???? Take your guess???

Yards from scrimmage

Kamara 1688 21tds
Cook 1918 17tds

No team has ever lost when they outscored their opponent.

Teams lose all the time when they gain more yards.

If the TD's are the most important criteria then Leroy Hoard would have been enshrined by now

Maybe it was head-to-head Minn vs NO
Cook 73 yards
Kamara 155 yards

Not really. Indy had no time outs, any completion inbounds and they wouldn't have been able to stop clock and game over. The Bills only had to cover the sidelines and the EZ, and had those routes blanketed.

They did waste a little time huddling up with the clock running under two minutes. They were really close to field goal range to tie.

Watching the Seahawks-Rams game, now. It's interesting to see pressure and even sacks coming from the d-tackles by both teams. Sure would have been nice to see some of that from the Vikings.

Seattle looks like they've got 3 "Doziers". The perfect last name for a guard, what a waste.

Looks like he's playing himself into a backup QB position with somebody in 2021

Absolutely!
Coming in cold from the season to a playoff game and playing his arse off.
Very impressive.

I've checked his wikipedia page. He seems to repeatedly find himself getting hurt. Now he's getting a chance to play when other quarterbacks are hurt.

Well he does run a lot and he's not the biggest guy. Looks like he got dinged up today too

We'll be in the mix to sign one this offseason. Sprinkle in "change of scenery", "new scheme", and "great OL coaching" and we will be set for 2021.

Don't the Vikings get one of the Bears draft picks? Maybe it helps a bit that the Bears will lose today.

Just checked. They get their fourth rounder. I suppose it was bad that the Ravens and Bills won for our picks in the third and fourth rounds respectively. We should be rooting that the Steelers lose to make our fifth rounder better from them. That third rounder probably matters more than the rest combined when it comes to the impact of wins and losses in the playoffs.

The biggest problem with this team seems to be at the top (Wilfs>Spielman>Zimmer). The short term solution would seem to be whatever changes the top. I'd like to see the Wilfs sell, since they don't seem up to the task of delivering a Super Bowl. Since that probably won't happen soon, whatever gets Spielman and Zimmer axed comes next. I say give Zimmer what he wants and then shit-can both when that doesn't work.

Run-first and control-but-don't-attack defense doesn't work in the NFL today, IMO. We've tried it, and it delivers 7-10 wins per year with outliers, but doesn't get close to the summit.
