Spielman will have front office options and possibly broadcast options. He's still got a long career ahead of himself.

The #Jaguars interviewed former #Vikings long-time GM Rick Spielman for a high-level front office position in-person yesterday, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo. One of the more respected GMs over the last decade, Spielman would be a key addition in Jacksonville.

The Jags have four 6th rd picks this year and two in the 7th... which explains the attraction for Spielman, even if his position has nothing to do with the draft.

(the Jags also have an extra 5th from us for Ngakoue ... thanks Rick, I'm sure that's the first bullet on your resume)

They have a boatload of picks ... if hired, I'd go right after the Jags 4th rd pick to replace our Herndon fiasco ... maybe offer our three 6th rd picks giving the Jags a total of seven 6th rd picks – you know Spiels would go for it regardless of of the trade chart ... but I wouldn't wish an overdose on anyone ...

I care nothing for Spielman’s future.. what he does inside or outside of football does not effect me unless he is somehow involved in getting players or draft picks away from the Vikings.
The Wilfs will be paying him, Zimmer, and a raft of former players for years based on contracts Spielman negotiated.

My attitude is never going to enjoy life, until I get justice for my wife and daughter.

Every day is an agonizing day of loss and underlying anger, because my family was destroyed by a LIE so heinous , that a juvenile court judge predetermined an outcome, and slandered my name and reputation in a court of law, with Zero accountability, for open Bias.

That is not justice.
That is child trafficking in the name of cash for children into a foster care system.

My entire personality and world view are distorted by “ Christian heritage” values deciding what is “ in the best interest” of my only Daughter.

The Juvenile court judge was facing legislative investigation for improper conduct, but resigned/ retired, and that investigation was discontinued by a Republican controlled legislature, as “ pointless, since she was no longer on the bench”.

Mine was not the only family destroyed by this judge..

But that no longer concerns the legal system, because it’s now a matter for federal courts under

Oh I understand..

I’d like nothing more than to trade up at Spielman’s expense and love of 7th rounders and snag a future hall of famer with a pick he traded down out of..

That’s a wet dream all by itself..

I know your situation. I don't like it. I don't want you to have it. And I can't relate to it, even with all the shit I've had to endure in my life ...

But I can't imagine it being even a little worse if you'd flip your attitude regarding everything trying a different approach ...

One day she will be able to make her own decisions. Hopefully you'll be there with peace in your heart waiting for her.

- my apologies for throwing this out there in public

What gets me about Zimmer and Spielman after everything that has come out recently is that the Vikings have one of the better rosters in the NFL and those two decided to get into a giant pissing match instead of working together for the betterment of the TEAM

I don't really feel any negativity towards Spielman.

Feel some towards Zimmer though.

Got some "hot young tail" and kinda changed. He overshot his mark (I still feel there's a 7 figure exchange happening) and gruff but loveable becsme gruff and prickish.

I know it's a 2 way street but if they weren't talking it was probably mostly Zimmer being the difficult one.

Quarterbacks are coach killers. Quarterbacks making double what they or worth are GM killers. It seems to me they both were killed by the same assailant. Next, on CSI Minneapolis.

I wouldn't put it all on Zimmer. Big part, sure. Watch the RS interview on The Herd. His smug ass sat there and had every right answer for what they looked for in guys and every signing he made was the total opposite. So either he:

A. Talked a good game but couldn't deliver it at all
B. Realized, after getting canned, what it would have taken and changed his tune

Either way it was total BS spewing out of him.

BTW- Cowherd talks him and Zimmer up from time to time so it set him up to be cocky. If you didn't watch this team for his tenure you would have wondered why he got fired. If you have it was puke worthy.

Brad, don't go there dude. RS brought him in as a FA and then signed him to the ludicrous extension. RS wasn't killed by KC. He committed suicide.

Look at this:
When the Broncos finally realize that it was actually Kirk who helped Kubiak have a top offense they will be wishing they sent a trade offer for Kirk.
The #Broncos are expected to hire former #Vikings OC Klint Kubiak as their news QBs coach and passing game coordinator, sources say. A big hire for new coach Nathaniel Hackett, as Kubiak helped Kirk Cousins have one of his best seasons in 2021 while calling plays in MIN.

Our OC is now a QB coach.....pretty much also proves how bad our coaching staff was...

Well … thats one reading of it.

Another is that, Kubiak’s QB had his best season by far, in an offense that was shackled and throttled by a HC who is racist against passing attacks.

Well I was preparing to hope he had something. Enough to consider the plus of Cousins having the same OC.

The move down the ranks prove that's not the case.

Yea if moving to Qb coach from OC is a career path in the NFL.

What’s next? Offensive Quality control guy, followed by assistant trainer?

If kubiac was told to “ take what you can get, or it’s pink slip time”..

I understand..

But how toxic was the coaching rooms if Zimmer went through OC’s like water..

He sounds like an executive level Peter principal Bully.

Might be a no go if the report Harbaugh called Michigan and said he's staying is true.

Fox sports radio now saying Rams OC is top choice.

Bummed about Harbaugh but at least it’s an offensive guy.
