ORIGINAL: Todd M I'd say our 3-3 record is Fair even if we you consider ourselves unfortunate to walk away with losses on the road to the current #1 seed in the AFC & NFC. The near losses at home to the Lions and Panthers evens it out. It looks like we might hug .500 all year depending on breaks good or bad. Probably in playoff contention until the end Maybe we smack GB around good our 1st meeting and make things interesting. Probably couldn't want win against Dallas any more than I do... Yeah I would say around 8-9 is an okay expectation as well – we'd have to win one packers game or both bears games (unlikely), beat the Lions, Steelers, 49ers. Can't see us beating the Chargers, Rams, Ravens, Cowboys (really painful to to say that). So, the 8-9 would be on the high side of expectation. Cold-blooded, I see us going 7-10. Outside of the NFC west (which will send a wildcard team for sure) everybody else except for the current division leaders (Packers, Cowboys, Bucs) look like .500 or worse teams ... so a wildcard game for us would not be outrageous. Not sure I will care much at that point. With our luck, we awkwardly back into the playoffs, surprise a legitimate team in the wildcard round, get absolutely destroyed the next game - then have to deal with the regime talking all offseason about building on a 'great win in the playoffs'.
